To start with, restaurant is located in old building. Interior didnt match historical site. It looked like fine dining in pizzeria or ramen noodles place for take away.... Furthermore, they had these mini coctail offers on the table that SAID ITS NOT A PROPER RESTAURANT...RATHER TAKEAWAY PLACE... Moreover, staff didnt notice us nor cared to chat up. It looked like they were exhausted. Not even polite "GOODBYE". Ofcourse, if your Geeman you will fit in. They seemed to please westerners but not easterneuropeans. Food: Shrimp/Prawn Coctail was disgusting. Not even worth the price. You can find those in retail stores. Oven baked duck breast - WAS NOT EVEN OVEN BAKED rather heated up. Overall:If your mainstream tourist you can pop in, if you love great food this place is disturbing for service and foodMore

Better to make a reservation if you want to sit outside. The courtyard is nice. The food was good and the prices are reasonable. The ribs were good too. The Ceasar salad was very good.

We came here to eat and have drinks in the evening, however it took some time for menus to be brought to our table, then we waited for like 20 minutes or longer and no one came to take our order, so we didn't have...the chance to try food and had to leave the place. The restaurant wasn't even full, so I am not sure how they couldn't manage the tables.More

The service was extremly bad. We didn’t reach to order. We were seated and waiting for menu. After 10 minutes waitress came without menu to announce that ‘stay if you like but we have 2 hours waiting time for main course’.

We tried four dishes. All off them were very delicious. Desserts and services nice as well. I strongly recommend this place.

One of the best dishes in town. I chose the local dish "Liepājas menciņi", which has fish, potatoes and sour cream. Very tasty cooked.

Dissspointment. The restaurant has gotten worse over past couple of years. We were group of 9 and had confirmed reservation, however upon arrival had to wait quite a time- some mistake/miscommunication had occured. Several dishes from menu were not available. Several of our ordered dishes...were served extremely salty. When we complained, waitress just told that she would report that to chef. And that’s all- no apology or anything followed. Besides some items from the order was forgotten like salads were served after the main course just because it was forgotten...More

They didn’t have some of the items we initially wanted from the menu but the dishes we did have were very tasty I wound up having pork fillet with potatoes and fried onion/scallion things. Wife had some fish dish. Both were surprisingly good. If we...were staying longer, I would definitely want to come back to try more dishes. Outdoor seating was especially nice. It’s situated in a nicely kept park area and away from pedestrian traffic. Bonus part of the visit is a friendly kitty that I think belongs to the restaurant and wanders around the outdoor area. Occasionally climbs up on empty seats and seems to enjoy company with the table occupants.More

Super cute find, pretty expected for Liepaja, with a rustic feel and decent food. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite being busy. It was nice being on the deck in a semi-park like surrounding. A nice place to spend a lazy dinner. The menu...was extensive and our meals came quickly. The garlic bread appetizer was served quickly (a little underwhelming compared to garlic bread I have had across Latvia), the spring rolls took longer (these are not regular spring rolls, they are more like little puffs stuffed with carrots and cabbage. Not quite what we were expecting, but delicious). The mains were served quite quickly and were plentiful and good. We arrive just before a large group and the place was packed (with social distancing between tables). The staff were able to keep up with orders and seem to have their rhythm back in serving people. I would probably eat here again. It was cute, rustic and looked cleaner than many of the other places I walked past in Leipaja.More

Most of the things you would like to order are not available in this restaurant since they don’t have it. At least the night we were there. All dishes are served at once (including appetizer and main course) which is always a bit tacky since...the other dish gets cold before you get the chance to eat it. Potatoes and other vegetables were clearly made yesterday and just quickly microwaved or at least that’s what they tasted like - that’s no good at all. They even managed to screw up my favourite dessert, creme brulee (no caramellized sugar on top and it actually didn’t even taste like a creme brulee so I’m actually not quite sure what it was). Overall, a big disappointment and not worth going.More
