Place was so modern and stylish, even more than you can expect. Food was great, service perfect. And prices more then adequate. I can strongly recommend.

I had seen so many good reviews recommending this restaurant, it's with surprise and disappointment that I'm writing this review. We had terrible experience at lunch today, 4th November with the lunch offer of the day - veiseliha ja köögivilja tortilla. The meat was dry...and super chewy, I cannot believe the kitchen thought that this was OK to serve to customers. I'm glad it was cheap, and I want to believe we were just unluckily, but I'm not returning for the à la carte menu.More

Secreted in an old Soviet complex, accessible through a tunnel into which you would not venture by chance.. sits this gem of an eatery. Fare far superior to that on offer in Tartu centre. Good beers and wines too. Super, friendly service, Aitäh Brita! The...duck fillets were perfectly cooked with a gorgeous rich source.. Eur5.90! I had sauteed baby new potatoes and a delicious beautifully flavoured spinach. My wife had a side of a side of tomato and avocado salad which was served with a seasoned balsamic dressing. Local "Muhu" bread, rich in rye but so delicately flavoured with some nuts was part of the standard offer, FOC. Great beers on tap from lesser known but superior to the standard LeCoq/Saku/Alexanders. A simple table wine from Languedoc for Eur12 or a Rioja Crianza for 17, both good. We went back, I couldn't resist it.. another duck perished. The best we ate in Tartu, also good Kolm Tili next door, in the same hidden square.More

I was there sometimes twice a day: the service is stunning. I wasn't sure what to choose sometimes, Agnes and Härold helped me choose delicious meals during these days. The location is in gallery full of nice coffees and high quality places to eat: among...all places in the Gallery, it's the best place, for sure. Whenever I return to Tartu, it will be my place to enjoy good and cheap food.More

It was a warm, sunny day so we all sat outside. There was enough shade with the numerous parasols. We were welcomed warmly and received our menus promptly. Everyone’s dishes were delicious and drinks were served at the correct temperatures. Service was very good. My...slow cooked pork was a bit dry / overcooked. This was just a small part of an overall, great experience.More

It was the first time we went there and probably the last. Didn’t have a chance to try food nor drinks. When we came, they said kitchen is closed already, which was ok for us since we only wanted to have a drink. They have...us a menu, and in 10 min waitress came to take an order ( which was two cocktails). After she took our order, she came back to say us that that can’t make us the drinks because they were out of ice. Instead of offering smth else ( we wanted actually to order some bottled beer), she just left. On Sundays this place works until 17.30, we came there around 16.50. We understand that maybe they just didn’t want to take new clients, but why you can’t just honestly say it?More

Have always enjoyed visiting this restaurant until today. We had a table reserved but when we arrived no one of the 3 waiters even looked at us so we sat at the table we saw was free and with the sign “reserved”. Then after some...time we got the menus and as the very bright lighting was straight above us, we asked if we could maybe sit anywhere else or turn the lamps down but they told it is not possible, which is understandable. Then we saw that people just left and table became available and we decided to move over there, after which a waiter immediately stormed to us, sighted very rudely and told how are they supposed to know what to clean now. I asked her politely why does she need to ask it with such a rude tone after which she rolled her eyes and told us we are rude to sit in another table. Obviously we left after this because she did not even apologise and started defending herself. Very very disappointed and sad to see such a bad service in a good restaurant, probably not visiting again anytime soon as we felt like we were very unwelcome there.More

Overall, the lunch was ok. Food was on the boring side and lacked seasoning. Service was prompt and the place itself is quite cool. Oh, and, if you go there, do avoid cocktails - they clearly didn't have a proper barman in there during afternoon...hours.More

Long waiting for lunch and still half of my mussels were not opened. None of our family was happy about their portions. Only one gluten free option.

We went there for dinner on a Saturday evening. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Shortly after we had placed our order we learned that the kitchen was out of pasta. So no pasta dishes. Really, on a Saturday night? We ordered different dishes instead,...I had a pulled pork burger with potato wedges. Food came quickly, my burger had exactly 4(!) potato wedges as a side. The meat was partly cold already. I can recommend this place for drinks only. The kitchen seems to be a mess.More

I went there because they have some vegan options. However, I waited like an hour to get my food (and only after asking) and this is not how I want to spent my one day of traveling in Tartu. They didn’t say anything about waiting...time when I ordered. So only go there if you have enough time on hand for waiting and you don’t starve.More

Meal were super. The cheesecake is amazing, literally melts in your mouth. Prices were more than okay for this taste experience, cheap. Place is very comfy and cozy perfect for an evening with friends, family or for a romantic date. Waitresses are quick, active and...always smiling. Good place, going to visit again for sure.More

Cozy place with good and affordable food. I ordered a lamb and it was really delicious. On the side was sweet potatoe and corn. The service was nice, waitress cared about our table.

Wasn't the first time though, maybe 5th?, dunno exactly. This time eight hungry mouths of family from three generations were at "quest". A brief birthday dinner of fourteen years old, the sweetest daughter of ours. All got fed by their delight. Me specially satisfied I...was... :P Firstly - love of my life, sorry beer of my life "The Alexander", secondly - mussels, mmmnjammnjamm, still licking my fingers (after a week...), thirdly - beef tenderloin, yeah, there I swallowed my tongue along with it... And a waiter!!! One super, nice young man, thank you!More
