I often order the daily pizzas form Taverna restaurant. The best way I would describe their pizza is that they put a lot of stuff on the pizza, which is great and their daily pizza deals are great value, however the pizza dough could be...better and quite often the pizzas tend to be greasy. The quality of the pizzas has been quite stable throughout the years. I don't have any experience with any of the other meals that they offer so I can't comment on those. I have been to Taverna many times, but ordered pizzas. On sunday evening i went there again, but this time wanted to try something different. I wanted to order grilled beef with red wine sauce, but it wasnt available. Okay then, i ordered grilled pork...fillet with cheese-cream sauce, over-baked potatoes and roasted vegetables. At that time, there was like 8 other people eating. We waited food over 30 minutes. When i went to ask, how long does it take, they brought the food right away. I am really sorry, that i didnt make a picture, because i was really hungry..But it was a disappoinment. The pig was dry. All the plate was full of mushrooms, wich wasnt mentioned at all ( i dont eat mushrooms and surely didnt want to order it). There was no roasted vegatables. And over baked potatoes was just a regular mashed potatoes. I think the sauce was the best part of the dinner.More

Very good pizza for an ok price (if you like a thicker crust). Location is nice, weekends tend to be busy-ish. Can't recommend the salads - not their forte..

Reasonable portions and prides. Nice staff. Familyfriendly, so if you want privicy, its not place for you.

I had a pizza in this restaurant and I was quite disappointed. Firstly they have no options for vegans, so i asked to remove the cheese from the vegetarian pizza, the vegetables on the pizza where low-quality and, I'm not sure, but it tasted like...frozen vegetables. Eventually, they told me that they do not have oil to put on the pizza.More

Nice place in the center of town, next to the tomb house. The dishes are delicious, mainly pizza and pasta. In the summer, open to eat outside.

Shocking that on the menu a meal with both cheese and egg is described as vegan. I know that a number of people have complained to the staff about this, but it still hasn't been changed! Taverna management, please AT LEAST change how you advertise...your food - I'm no expert but pretty surely it's illegal to mislead customers in such a way?!More

I ate beef meal. it was very hard to cut it,, overcooked and i did not get stake knife. it was not easy to eat. anyway it was not bad. better to sit outside, because inside is like a basement.

Really great place to eat if you dont know anything else to go. So different food to pick like pizza, pasta, wok, desserts, really fantastic place

we was with family to eat dinner. was realy tasty. hamburger with free and pasta carbonara. nice price list as well.

Nice atmosphere, pizza was very tasty, fast service, good price. Location is good - in the old city. Recommend!
