7 of us came here recently on our trip to Tallinn. All of us agree that one of our favourite nights was spent in this restaurant.
From the moment you walk in you're enthralled by the decor and the atmosphere of the restaurant. We were seated by a very friendly male waiter, and he was patient enough with us to let us order a cocktail first and have that before ordering our meal. Everyone of us loved the variety and flavours of the cocktails they had, something for everyone and they were presented beautifully.
All the food we had was also delicious and had wonderful authentic flavours. We had a mixture of starters, mains and desserts. I had the Panang curry (thai style) which was very spicy, but just what I was after, it was great. People also really enjoyed how well the duck and pork was cooked. Desserts were all fab too, the chocolate fondant and mango cheesecake were wonderful. We had three courses and a couple of cocktails each and found the bill to be very reasonable for what we received. Staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant had a great atmosphere to sit in, and we didn't feel at all rushed or pressured to leave. A great place to enjoy a meal with friends.

This place has the best Thai food I've ever experienced outside of Thailand. The papya salad is just like the papaya salad I eat in chiang mai Thailand.
When I arrived and for the whole time I was there (more than an hour) they had less than 25% occupancy. Yet they still made out it was exclusive. Saying hmm I'm not sure we can fit you in and telling me I could only accept the seat I was given. Even though there was almost no one else in the restaurant for over an hour.
This place has some of the most incredible Thai food. Their coconut panacotta with mango jam is not traditionally Thai but it fits well into the Thai pallat and tastes great!
Likewise their Thai green curry was very creamy and westernised but still tasted delicious and fit the flavour profile used in Thailand.
The Malaysian bread was different but really nice. All said I really liked the food.
The total cost of the meal was really expensive. For a solo diner it was way too much. The papaya salad was amazing but at €13 for a small salad with 4 ingredients it was a but much.
Also the tax is not calculated into no the menu. So expect to see a 20% increase on top of your already expensive menu prices.
Very nice, a little to fake exclusive, the decor was edgy and fun and the prices were rediculously over the top.
But it was a nice experience, not one I care to repeat unless they lower their prices.

Atmosphere is very nice, mixed with a different kind of Asian cultures. Salmon we ate was perfectly made, reasonable priced and very well set up. One of the best fish I have eaten in my life. Nice sound quality, become a music club after ten pm. Very strange perfume smell all the time we sat in the restaurant and staff couldn't explain the reason? So one star less from the five. No sanitizer or hand paper in the toilet. Weird in the Corona period...

Was invited here for a work dinner and my colleague described it as a “Thai restaurant with a twist”. The service was excellent. Once the young gentleman heard we were speaking in English, he quickly brought an English menu. When we were discussing vegan options, again very quickly he brought their vegetarian menu, which was a great surprise. Since my colleague ordered a set menu, I asked for a simple cucumber salad to accompany her during her first course. I wasn’t asked and it was super spicy!! My main course, green vegetable curry, was supposed to be medium spicy, but didn’t have any taste. The atmosphere was nice, the decoration is different. the service was excellent, but the food ... what a pity.

From the first step leading to the bohemian thai restaurant we were blown away. It was my first time there but It will most certainly not be my last. The smells from the open kitchen really took me back to thailand. Our waiter Kaur greeted us at the door and offered a selection of tables to sit at, he really knows the menu and can help reccomending if you can not choose. We had the duck in hoisin sauce and kimchi porkbelly. And we shared an entree, the gyozas. All of these are well recommended! Gyozas were well seasoned and we were sad when we finished them as we wanted more . Duck was very tasty and Kimchi porkbelly was generous. All in all a finger-licking experience !

Tai Boh offers delicious food in an interesting environment, with highly attentive, welcoming and friendly staff. The first time we visited we tried one of the tasting menus, this time we ordered in several different courses to share. Everything was delicious!

First off such a fun restaurant with so many cool rooms and a great outdoor patio - which is where we sat. We didn't have reservations and were lucky enough to score a table. The place was full all night - so reservations would be a good idea if you are able.
Our waiter was awesome. He was very attentive despite being super busy. Good luck on the javelin today!
We ordered some mocktails to start. Fabulous flavors and beautiful presentation. We both decided to order the chicken pad Thai and some pork skewers as a starter. The food was flavorful, fresh and filling. We discovered the two chefs are from Thailand and that explained why our taste buds were wanting more.
Indulged in the chocolate fondant for dessert and wanted to lick the plate. If you love a cool vibe, great energy and delicious food - you gotta here!

We have now visited this restaurant twice and first time we came on a fully booked evening but they managed to squeeze us in anyway. The food is adventurous and exiting and tastes great. Flavors are definitely from the Asian side and the rinks even a little on the sweet side for me tastes great and are not main stream. Finally I want to mention the decor that is out of this world. A mix of almost anything you can imagine makes this a super cozy restaurant to go with your partner or friends and you will not regret coming here.

The restaurant is different in a good way both in decor and food. They have a good amount of gluten free options. The food was delicious (we had papaya salad, yellow curry and satay chicken skewers) and the service was friendly. Also the cocktails were delicious.

The food is very good and totally worth the price. I can recommend the head chef’s duck. Totally a 5/5 plate. One thing to be in knowledge of is that the waiting time for plates is depending upon the day from 30min up to ..
Absolutely would recommend eating here 😉

I was not happy with the restaurant. In the internet price was 50 € and in the restaurant price was 10€ higher. Waiters answer to that was that it isnt his responsibility to change the prices online. Vegetables we're just steamed, lacking any flavour and the whole menu just wasnt worth it. My favourites in the seven course meal was tuna at the starter and cake as a dessert.

A great example of “don’t judge the book by its cover”. As soon as we stepped in we already were contemplating leaving. The interior was very... unique. However, the food tasted absolutely amazing and the staff was very professional and attentive. Also their cocktails are godly.

Hello,
Thank you for the awesome feedback! The interior definitely isn't for everyone, I agree. Nevertheless, I am delighted to hear you chose to stay, sounds like it was the right choice.

This restaurant came recommended by by a colleague and it didn’t disappoint.
The decor was funky (almost Monty Pythonesque) and the background music was low key.
I ordered the Pho and their unusual spin on Pork Belly, both were amazing, as was he wine and the service.
I will definitely revisit this restaurant when I return to Tallinn.

The only problem with this place is that I keep ordering the same things all the time as they are amazing. But I keep bringing people to this place and everyone is always amazed by the fun and quirky decor, great service and amazing food.
Prices are not too bad either!

Hello Ingrid,
Apologies for the late response. Thank you for the delightful feedback, people like yourself are the ones that keep us happy and willing to continue being ourselves. Also, there's nothing wrong with having the usual every time; I find myself doing just that in all the other venues all the time. Hope to see you again soon!
All the best,
Sander & TaiBoh staff
