Excellent food and friendly English speaking staff. We enjoyed the cabbage rooks and the Russian pot roast dish which arrives covered by a bread loaf. Delicious food!! And it’s on the Town Hall Square so outdoor dining is nice
Troika is middle of old town edge of market place. In Troika waiters are so lovely and service is good. It is good place to sit down and rest a little in middle of shopping.
We had a lovely dinner here. Traditional russian food like zakuska and pelmeni. Cheerful and fast service. Very affordable and large portions. Well worth a visit!
Very nice terrace on the main square but its worh looking at the restaurant indoor place as well. Its ornate design is quite something. Food is great worth visiting it when you are in Tallinn.
the food was tasty and staff were very friendly. perfect ambiance for a group of friends whether it's to hang out and chill or have a small drink
We were eating with family. All of us ordered chicken soup. Restaurant was full of customers and we waited long time our food. Finally chicken soup arrived, but soup was cold. We asked new soup waited more. This time food was really hot. Size of...soup was really small, really expensive and bread was cheap market bread.More
We ordered tree troika tender loin steaks with potatoes. 2/3 steaks were over cooked. Only my steak was medium cooked and the meat doesn't even look like a tender loin. One of us asked new steak, but once again it was over cooked. It was...unable to cut or chew. We had to pay only of two steaks, but the restaurant doesn't give very professional image.More
Juhhhuuuu, best restaurant ever😍😍😍😍 Best pelmeni in the town. Very good atmosphere here! Vodka is also good!
Overall Tallinn has amazing service but this is however an exception, pretty slow and uninterested in taking orders. Nothing wrong with the quality though
Very nice place, good food and our waiter were very funny and professional. Downstairs is nice old atmosphere. Very nice experience.
Had really nice and tasty borsh there, BUT the service is terrible. Visited the restaurant, one of the workers showed us the table, however after sitting another one came and told us to leave because it is reserved. We were trying to explain that we...were directed by another person, but that worker did not even listen and said no it is reserved. Anyways then first person came and told us to sit again. After some time, some new people came into restaurant, and worker showed them our table saying that we will leave soon although we did not inform anyone about it. Also, the prices are a bit expensive.More
I visited over Christmas. It was very cold and snowy out thus I assume this is why there was no dancing or live music when I visited. I began with a flight of flavored vodka shots, followed by red caviar with salad. For my main...course I had the bear stroganoff. The food was excellent. I found the service to be attentive. The interior is very unique. Slightly expensive compared to other options.More
I only rated 1 star but it is not possible to rate 0 or minus stars. The personnel is so impolite!!!!! Tried to eat there for lunch but there were no table (of course that's not the problem), so they told us so in a...very impolite manner, just "no table" or something like that, no "hi/hello....". (that's positive next to how they treated us later). Since we really wanted to eat there, we booked a table for the same night. We show up, the employee tells us to go to the tables upstairs where there are other servers taking care of that floor. Nobody talks to us, we sit at the table for 15 minutes and nobody has looked at us or said anything to us (and they aren't even busy, and they are just doing other things like preparing table that have no clients). We decide to just get up and leave, we pass next to them they see us and say nothing and don't even care!!!!!! Worst service I have ever experiences, wouldn't recommend to anyone an will never try to go there again.More
This Russian restaurant is located in Tallinn main square (Town Hall square), so location is great and also atmosphere is cozy. They offer a little show during the dinner with girls dancing in local costumes. Food is normal, less good than other restaurants we tried...in Tallinn; Troika is more touristic compared to other places in the city centre. Staff is not friendly at all, they are quite hasty.More
