An amazing meal and great service

We had the most amazing meal whilst we visited this restaurant. we had a table of 8 and nothing was too much trouble. I am allergic to nuts and they were aware of this when we booked, they were very attentive with my needs and let each member of staff know who served the table. I had a fillet steak cooked rare and it was truly amazing, it was cooked perfectly and had no fat or gristle left on it. it just melted in the mouth. We all had an amazing evening and would definitely recommend it to anybody who is thinking of going.

We went there with my fiance during Tallinn restaurant week, a 3 course menu for 20 EUR for 1 person. And it was simply amazing! The steak was just the perfection, perfect cook and perfect seasoning, the chef is bold and not scared of seasoning as many chefs are. All the garnish together with steak- just cant fault it! The ice cream desert was from another world- sooo creamy, no iciness at al! The waiter said it was made from the condensed milk, maybe that's why. The whole service was super smooth, didnt really have to wait for any course. Everything was just perfect. We will definitely go there again

To light up our mood on Monday, my boyfriend and I visited this place for our lunch and we didn’t regret at all. All the food we ordered was delicious. Meats are cooked with perfect temperature. The house cake we ordered for our dessert was also very tasty. Usually I am not a big fan of cakes but this one is different. I can clearly see the effort of all the chefs who prepared these food. Big thank you to all the chefs. They also have lots of good wine selections. Definitely recommend for those people who enjoy meat

Birthday Dinner at Argentiina

Our group arrived promptly at 19.00 we were offered drinks etc and the starter arrived at 19.15. The wrong wine was brought to the table, I ordered a €30 they brought a €41 euro bottle and it was an embarrassment to send it back so we took it, we ordered our food, some 2o minutes later the waiter came back to say they didn't have T-bone steak and one of our party had to order another dish. The food eventually arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes later by which time the two bottles of wine were finished one red one white, we re ordered but the didn't have the same wine we had initially so reverted back to what I had originally ordered, they had the same red. The service was atrocious and the time it took to serve the main course is unacceptable everyone was hungry and 1.45 hours is just not on. The food was overall delicious, the table costs came to well over 500€ I think they need to get their act together. One more thing coffee was ordered it never arrived the waiter must have forgotten,

After a very slow start (25 mins wait) the service team picked up the speed and food was actually served pretty quickly even when the restaurant was fully packed. Appetizers were good already but then the steaks came… Oh my word. Some of the best plates of meat ever. Perfect taste of open flame, great seasoning, and the steak itself melting in your mouth. Coupled by a very nice bottle of wine, we had a perfect dinner.

Nice Cozy place for eating meat

We recently visited this restaurant in february. ⁠ The place is very nice and cozy. Besides having to wait a little too long to place our order, the service was very good. ⁠ ⁠ The entrees come with a side and sauce of choice, and we ordered the Grilled duck breast fillet with the mushroom sauce and the Grilled serloin steak with the mushroom and Chef's special sauce for our main dishes, with fries on the side. The food was really good, and quite spicy. ⁠ Definitely a place to visit to satisfy carnivorous cravings, but there are one or two vegetarian items on the menu as well :) ⁠

Second visit, second time disappointed

Awful service. Waitress forgot everything all the time, especially all the drinks. The table was filled with empty wine glasses or bottles. I understand that the house was full, but seeing her chatting behind the bar, when we have been waiting for 20-30 minutes after the first order and later having the same problem all over again is not ok for the fine dining. Food was ok, but for that price range I was expecting more from tuna tartar that was served with few slices of store bought bread and butter and just a bit of guacamole. The main course was a bit cold by the time it reached the table. Second time at Fahle Argentiina restaraunt and second time we were disappointed

Good food with a very slow service

All of the food was excellent but the service was really, really slow. 20 minutes to take first orders, another 15 minutes for receiving first drinks. Starters arrived 40min after ordering, so around 1h after we entered. Mains took another 40min, and 1 of the dishes arrived completely cold. Other two steaks were mildly warm, it seems obvious that meat was waiting for side dishes to be added. Very disappointed about the slow service as otherwise all of the food tasted excellent. Would like to go back to eat some good meat but not sure we will return due to bad service. The first time we went to the other Argentiina restaurant near the harbor, we faced the same issues and didn't receive our fries with the meat.

RUDE AND ARROGANT TREATMENT

We had already booked a table from Finland for December 4 to celebrate the holiday. On Friday morning, there was another message: "We are sincerely happy that you are planning to visit our restaurant. * We will keep your table for 20 minutes after the booked time. Please call if you are late +372 6 605 177" We started getting ready for the evening, when suddenly my husband got a message from the restaurant: "Your reservation has been cancelled" My husband called the restaurant, which claimed that the cancellation message had already been posted a week before, which is definitely not true. You can see the time from the email, which was about three hours before the reservation! There was no explanation, let alone kindness or an apologetic attitude, there was no information! Our disappointment was great! A table reservation is recommended everywhere, and we didn't have one! They didn't even offer a new reservation for e.g. the following evening. Saturday evening: we got the table at 20:50 and when the food was finally served, it was 22:30. Imagine being hungry and waiting for your dinner some 1,5 hours. That's way too long, and when asking waitress what's taking so long the answer was "this is normal, because we're fully booked". If this is normal then I don't want it.

A Mixed Experience at Restaurant Argentina

I recently visited Restaurant Argentina, known for its flavorful cuisine, and while the food lived up to its reputation, the overall experience was a mixed bag. The standout here is undoubtedly the food—rich, authentic, and expertly prepared. Every dish we ordered was delicious, showcasing the bold and savory flavors Argentine cuisine is known for. However, there was noticeable inconsistency in the grilling. I ordered three medium-grilled dishes, and each came out at a different doneness level, ranging from rare to well-done. It seems their definition of “medium” is open to interpretation, which was a bit disappointing. The service, unfortunately, left something to be desired. While the staff wasn’t outright rude, they felt inattentive and somewhat disengaged. We often found ourselves waiting for assistance, and the food took a long time to arrive. There was also a subtle attitude from our server that didn’t make us feel particularly welcome. That said, if you’re patient and willing to overlook the service shortcomings, the food here is worth the wait. Restaurant Argentina has the potential to be great if they work on improving their consistency and customer service. Rating: 3.5/5 - Outstanding food, but the service and consistency need improvement.

Good food, bad service

Very good looking place, arrival is pleasant. Greeted near the door and seated to the table. Our waiter was middle-aged black haired woman, who wasn’t very enthusiastic about having us. Her attitude was low, she didn’t get the order right (she didn’t write down the order, “remembered” everything and brought us wrong side-dish and sauce). After the main dish she disappear for half and hour and we could not get a receipt. I asked for receipt two different waiters, who ignored me, continued to clean the tables and bring beers/coffee to other clients. Meat was good, juicy. Service bad.

Cold interior and no service

Went there for lunch, first impression was ok, however everything went downhill from there. One happy greeting on the doorstep and that's the end of it. Nothing happened. We sat there like bunch of outcasts, we waited 25 minutes for menu, then got tired and left. At the same time, restaurant had only third of tables filled, and there was definitely enough staff to serve everyone. Just plain old ignorance. Sad. Just imagine, how long will it take to get your food, if getting the menus takes nearly half an hour. Now, i do know, that they just opened some weeks ago... but still, would have hoped a bit better experience. I thought i would give this experience a 1 star rating, but because of the happy greeting, I'll give 2 stars, one in advance, if ever to visit again.

Hard to find, arrogant waiter, bad experience

Bad experience, arrogant waiter, and difficulty finding the place. I have taken my mother to have a great experience in Tallinn and sadly chosen this restaurant for a special dinner. The sign at Tartu Maantee 80 is attached to the abandoned building, and we walked for 20 mins around looking for an entrance. I have later emailed the restaurant and asked to at least add the directions on their website. The small A4 size posted on large doors is all that was. Upon arrival, I said I do not want any problem, but it was difficult to find them and my mother in her age had to experience this freezing January evening walk. The waiter looked like she even had a smirk or some smile as of it was funny. She just said I ll show you your table and that was it. Never asked if we need anything, never asked if we needed milk although we asked for Americano. Absolute ignorance and will not recommend. Best visit other nice restaurants in Tallinn.

In short, I RECOMMEND! On August 3, while on a business trip, my husband and I, based on a recommendation, chose the Argentina restaurant for dinner. Upon entering the building where the restaurant is located, you will be greeted by a beautiful internal garden with living trees and various flowers. The restaurant itself is located in a fairly large hall with high ceilings and a very interesting and also unobtrusive interior. Within 10 seconds we were greeted and shown to a table. Separately, I want to tell you about the waiter who served us. This is top class!!! Starting with clothes (a shirt with a vest in dark burgundy colors), competent speech, with excellent knowledge of information on the menu and wine list, and what I especially liked was the increased respect for visitors and the ability to listen.. We ordered a ribeye steak, carpaccio and drinks . The meat was fried exactly as we asked, wonderful in taste and beautifully presented. There is an expression “to live in pleasure”, this is the case - we experienced true pleasure and enjoyment with every piece of steak. Respect to the cook! But the “cherry on the cake” was the Argentinean dessert. Delightful flavor combination. To sum it up - a decent restaurant, with excellent service and delicious food.
