Nice location. Ate inside as raining. Smallish burgers without any chips for 11 euros. Ham and cheese croissant very uninspiring.

In my first year of university I had what I still consider my best job EVER. I worked at a pea dehydration factory, and I was junior Quality Control officer. Which meant that my job, every day, was to taste the peas at every stage...of the dehydration process, and assess them on a scale of one to 10 for texture, flavour and sweetness. My favourite food on earth is peas. I was being paid to eat peas. Fast forward several decades. I am in Estonia for a number of days before I discover that pea soup (Hernesupp) is a national dish of the country. I have literally returned (entirely unknowingly) to my spiritual home. Pikajala Kohvik is an unassuming little place up near the upper town that makes GREAT pea soup. Like, GREAT. And they played the All Blacks vs England for me on the big screen, and the All Blacks won, so... enough said.More
We were just walking around in the middle of the old city center in Tallinn and found this nice place. I also wanted to sit outside, cause the weather was fantastic ☀️ Service was very friendly and the garlic bread was astonishly tasty!
This place really deserves a try! You won’t regret it! The food is delicous, the beer is good and cold ( local saku beer) and the serving is fast.
We had to get some lunch while strolling around old town Tallinn and the discovered this place. And the place delivered - nice service with a smile, good food done pretty quickly and reasonable prices. Spent about 39 € on two dishes and drinks.
A bottle of house red, cheese platter and 3 pasta dishes all for €66 for 3 people, most reasonable. Food and service very good but the constant boom, boom, boom of the music detracted somewhat for me. There again I am just an old fart,...young ones probably love it.More
On the way down from the hills of the old town, this cozy restaurant offers first-rate service and good food. Certainly nice to sit outside, but it was too cold for this now. Somewhere we come back to with good and reasonably priced food. LOOK...FOR THE LONG BOOT HANGING OUTSIDE.More
We needed a short break whilst we worked out our plan for the rest of the afternoon and this was a very pleasant place to sit in the sunshine for refreshing drinks.
Nice breakfast including scrambled eggs, toast, orange juice and coffee. The atmosphere may be very different in the evenings judging from the sports scarfs on the walls.
This is a really nice restaurant along Pikk Jaig. There is a long boot hanging outside the restaurant, lovely and unique! Their chicken breast fillet was succulent and delicious. And very friendly service! Indeed a good place to conclude your visit of 'Long Leg Street'.
Me and my wife wanted to sit somewhere and have a look at Final League Champions 2017.Accidentally we found this place turning to the right side of Cath. Alexander Nevsky. It was very nice surprise, very good sport ambient and we were suporting Juventus that night.Unfortunately Juventus...lost but anyway we had such a nice evening with my lovely wife.More
Lovely terrace outside in the front of view of Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Recommend - chocolate pie and hot wine!
We came across this place in my guide book and being as we were passing it, decided to stop for lunch. It is only a smallish place but had settees and lovely tables and was nice and cosy for a cold day. We ordered a...chicken caesar salad, a pea soup and 2 goulash soups. The caesar salad I had was delicious and quite a large portion. The soups were also apparently very tasty. Lovely place to stop for lunch!More
We stopped at this place by chance and it was a great discovery. Really good food cooked with fresh ingredients. A very nice waitress. We each had a soup and a pancake and salad to share. All of us and a very good and tasty...meal !More
This little Cafë/restaurant has also little terrace and it's on a way to Toompea Hill. It's little hard in wintertime to walk there on those slippery cobblestones, but on a nice weather it's nice to sit there and watch people passing by. I guess they...are focusing lot to Finnish customers, because there are hockey jerseys on their wall. Friendly service behind their little desk, safe menu and little noisy clientele.More
