About
Köök is a private dining venue & gastronomic atelier, providing cooking classes and degustations in the ideal setting of an arched building in the heart of Tallinn`s medieval Old Town. Köök, or Kitchen in English, opened in 2008 knowing that it didn’t want to be a regular restaurant. This is just what it did. Köök is all about food, enjoying and getting involved in the preparation of, and tasting of the creations of British chef and owner Tim Bramich. Tim uses his background of working in fine dining & Michelin starred restaurants in London, where he was classically trained in French cuisine, in his recipes, but also influences from his travels around the world. Köök offers the opportunity to enjoy a variety of events from beer, tea & wine tastings to hands on cooking classes, chocolate truffle work shops & blind dinners. The intimate venue is the perfect setting for business seminars, team building, family and other private events.

A light lunch of beetroot, feta and ryebread salad with my friend having chicken and mushrooms in a cream sauce on fusilli proved very enjoyable and satisfying, helped by a sunny day so we ate outside. Inside proved interesting and eclectic too and the staff were very helpful.
If my cappuccino had been hot as requested an extra star would have been earned !

We had a private cooking class, paired with Italian Wines. Loved it all... chef was great, very patient and talented. Food was just amazing! Loved the setting, atmosphere and service. Great experience! We'll definitely do it again soon!!!

Very welcoming. This was chosen as the lovely host was in the doorway. Her welcoming smile made us come back to investigate. Sat at very large table and made to feel very welcome. Stop by when in the old town. The smells coming from the kitchen were amazing. Surprised to find the chef was actually English as well. No issues with translation :-)

Going over 4 years, the place is only for people in the now. A-listers, family gatherings, corporate events, but also a romantic dinner for two in art-filled space. Look for almost the invisible sign at Pikk 42 and draped windows
