Excellent New Year dinner

Our New Year dinner at Spot Tallinn was very succesful. We enjoyed a lot of the first class three course menu, champagne and wine. The dishes were very creative and well prepared and plated. Look Spot's website for the menu. Highly recommended!

Great service, quality food

We went here this evening, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Nicely lit and soft background music. We had a warm welcome and could choose where we wanted to sit. The menu is small but that's because everything is freshly prepared. Only one vegetarian option for the main but there was fish and a choice of meat dishes. My partner chose the mousse (medium cooked) . Service was very friendly and we were given free bread to accompany put meal. The meal was well worth the money, the ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend.

Fine dining in your mothers kitchen

Half empty place on Saturday evening which we found strange. The service was fast (except when we wanted to have the bill, there were other guests who got the attention repeatedly. We found this a bit frustrating). Friendly staff, also got a reply on email about booking a table which is quite rare. The food was great but the interior doesn’t necessarily scream fine dining. As a small detail: I got my burger on a white plain plate while my friends got their food on a black plate with more detailed garnish. You can make burgers in a fine dining way as well, you know that right? Don’t get me wrong, the food was great, including the burger. It’s just that…it looked a bit like a mother’s kitchen with the chairs and plain colour scheme. Would still recommend. Maybe it could just polish itself a little bit and make “a come-back”?

Unpleasant customer treatment

Generally unpleasant experience, would recommend to avoid in the restaurant’s current state. In short: 1 / 5 Customer treatment 3 / 5 Food quality/price We had an appetizer and a main dish. The food took quite some time to deliver, however this seemed to be quite common in Estonia as a whole, and is not that bothersome to us. The food was alright, nothing special, and the price can be explained similarly. However, the outstanding part was our server, a man in his fifties or so. He was behaving horribly toward us; rolling his eyes at our menu choices, making sexist “jokes”, and sarcastically mocking us for not ordering something more expensive. I certainly have never had such a rude experience at any restaurant, and that ruined the entire experience. Luckily we could end the night elsewhere as soon as possible.

We visited the restaurant based on its ratings and the menu available on their website,particularly for the lamb neck. As it turned out the menu on the website is outdated. My husband had creamy salmon soup which was fresh and on point. I had the grilled duck (medium) which had a slight aftertaste. The service was great though!

We booked this restaurant on our last evening in Tallinn, before heading to the airport, having spent four days and many restaurant meals in Tallinn. We were struck by the warmth of the welcome we received when we arrived, which lasted the evening, but the food was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious, the wines too were very well selected and Mónica our host was delightful, honest and charming. We highly recommend if you are looking for authentic cuisine, care and attention from friendly staff and food which we would easily expect at a much more expensive restaurant. Very good value, and charming.

I had dinner here with a dear Italian friend and our companions. I hadn't seen this person for a long time, having moved from Italy to Ukraine and then to Lithuania several years ago, but by pure chance we were all visiting the city of Tallinn at the same time. This venue, with its warm and welcoming atmosphere, was the perfect place to celebrate this lucky meeting. The staff is extremely friendly and nice. The food was truly delicious: we ordered fish and excellent hõõgvein, whose rich and enveloping flavor I still remember after almost a year. The bread offered with cover is delicious, accompanied by a saucer of herb butter.

Meal with a warm smile

We randomly spotted the place while walking around downtown basically because we noticed how ki d and cheerful the Waitress was towards the Customers sitting at the tables already. The menu itself is very short but the meals were extremely delicious. Yes, we saw the descriptions but when the meals arrived it was a WOW MOMENT! The combination of flavors and ingredients were superb and the Waiter was simply lovely and cheerful and chatty! Besides our lovely lunch we got a very friendly experience too. 2 days later we returned to try their sweets too, that was our second extremely positive occassion at this warn and cosy restaurant. The portions are tiny, so if you are starving, this may not be the very best place to pick, but the experience in general is very positive!

The tasting menu was an exciting and extremely good tasting experience. 4-course dinner for €65 was a positive experience, far beyond our expectations. The restaurant itself was standard and therefore we were amazed by both the presentation of the various dishes of exquisite raw materials and not least all the good flavors!

Good dining choice

We had a very good dinner here. The salmon fillet was tasty and a generous portion. The goat cheese salad and the chickpea curry were also good and the chocolate cake with ice cream finished off the meal well. If there were some vegetable side such as grilled seasonal vegetables we would have liked the meal even better.

Solo, group or intimate dinner - this is a great SPOT!!

Had two great meals at SPOT while I was in Tallinn. It was so good that I returned. The chef is inventive and uses fresh, local ingredients to prepare lovely dishes - including vegetarian! The service is gracious. Go while you are in Tallinn - you won't be disappointed.

Very friendly welcome. Whether it was the soup or the main course, everything had a lot of flavor. The venison was cooked exactly as I requested. The vegetables that accompanied this meat were truly exceptional. I recommend this address without hesitation.

Great dinner

We had a dinner booked on saturday and had a great time! The starters were great we had mussels, prawns and the goat cheese salad and the portions were big. For the main we had the wild deer and salmon an they were amazing! Our server was so nice and friendly. Will definitely come back!

What a find !! Great food amazing service

Stunning food, the venison was out of this world. Our waiter was perfect even with the chocolate cake issue 😂😂😂 we did giggle Every dish was immaculately presented and tased amazing, the wine too was a good selection and complimented the meal so well Recommend this place for dinner to anyone travelling here

Large (15 people) enjoyed a long dinner and all good. Very good service while preparing the booking and menus. The same excellent service continues all the way though the visit. Food was lovely so definitely a recommendation for Spot. Picture shows the meatballs from the children’s menu.
