Located inside the Town Hall on the main floor, this little gem of a restaurant was a pleasant find. I visited somewhat on a whim as I had seen streams of people coming in and out during my first few days in the city. There...really isn’t a menu so much as “daily offerings” which in my case included elk sausage, soup, croissants filled with meat and carrot, and of course that staple of the medieval diet… copious amounts of beer. The lady at the register was clearly in character and I had to chuckle a bit as I read some of the reviews that referred to the staff as rude. This is a Middle Ages experience through-and-through, including the lack of silverware and anything remotely resembling a well-lit room or waitresses that clean the plates from your table. Moreover, the price is right! Take a chance, swing by, and have some fun. Cheers!More
