We had a perfect lunch here. The restaurant is located in the My City hotel just outside the old town walls. We arrived at about 14:00 , the restaurant was empty. A waitress welcomed us and gave us excellent service during the whole lunch (too...bad I can't recall her name). Each dish was unique and delicious in its way, we left with the feeling of WOW. The restaurant was White Guide recommended, as one of the top restaurants in Estonia. If I had to sum it up in a sentence: 15 Euroes for a perfect 3 course meal - this is the best that you can get.More

Had a fantastic Dinner here with family. Everything was really tasty and beautifully placed. The waiter explained everything what We had on our plates. Pricing is very good. Only thing was that it took 3 hours to eat 3 course menu. It was a bit...too much for small children, all the waiting... But maybe it was because they were short of staff. Overall, I Will definately come back some Day and try for example lunch here. 👍More

We had a dinner with friends in this restaurant that is located in the basement of a hotel. The menu looked very appetizing and our only difficulty was in deciding whether to have the surprise menu or to have everyone order individually. Our party had...the tuna tartar and beef tartar for starters. All of these were to die for. Given a chance I would personally had seconds. The main course was wild boar for me and my friend and the rest of the family had porcini risotto. These were perfectly cooked and delicious. We selected to go with a New Zealand Pinot through the meal, a choice that proved to be very versatile. I am not such a fan of desserts but these were actually quite good . We had some Sauternes with them, a choice that pleased us. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and wines. She was assertive, but not imposing, ready at hand when needed and quick in her actions. All in all, this was one of the best meals I've had in Tallinn over the years. I hope to be back to sample more of Mix's menu soon.More

We chose Mix for a nice sunday evening dinner. The food was extremely tasty but it was service that separated Mix from other restaurants! Our waiter was diamond-hard professional who knew the menu and restaurant like back of his hand. We had an enjoyable evening...and we're sure to come again!More

The service was excellent, and I don't think it was only because we were the first dinner customers there in 2,5 months. We wanted to share the starter and the chef split the dish on two plates - beautifully plated both of them. The best...ever Chicken Kiev did not disappoint, and the Prosecco and the Riesling were excellent. This was a very special meal indeed!More

We think that we had the best ever dinner in Tallinn in Mix. We had chosen Chef’s menus, one fish and one meat both including four dishes. Both dinners were excellent, they were also served with very nice timing by very friendly lady. Like we...said on leaving, we’ll go there again.More

What a great meal! Tunatartar and Octopuscarpaccio with all their flavours were delicious. The quail and the wildboar also melted in our mouths. At the end a light lemontart, and our dinner was complete. Thank you Nikita for attentive service and well advised vine recommendation.

Restaurant Mix is an elegant restaurant and is situated in the basement of a hotel. Our party had the lunch menu which was very affordable (15€ / 3 courses). For a started I had the tartar made out of organic beetroot. The presentation was very...pretty. You got nice sweetness from the beets and the pea purée gave nice saltiness to the dish (the purée was not the smoothest I’ve had). Only thing that I was waiting was some acidity to balance the very sweet beets and give some edge to the dish. The lingon berries gave a nice little bitter taste to the dish. The main course was cod which was perfectly cooked. The fish was flaky but not dry (little bit under seasoned). The very light, foamy and acidic hollandaise was perfect (was it made with siphon?). If the dish would end here it would be quite perfect but on the side we had tasteless under seasoned potatoes. The dried olive crumble was a little bit mystery because I think that it did not go well with any other component on the dish. The marinated tomatoes tasted nice but they were cold as they were taken straight from the fridge. The dessert was passion fruit mille feuille. The presentation was really nice but I feel that the foam was way too thick and greasy (the grease got stuck into my mouth). Was the foam made with passion fruit essence or was there real fruit involved? I would change the lingon berries into a few passion fruit seeds. But I have to say that in Finland I can’t find a lunch menu this good at this price (if this was served in a finnish restaurant the price would be double). Thank you for the nice waitress we had and cheers to the chef. Good job!More
