We visited after going round the Tower. You can sit outside and take in a really stunning view over Tallinn. The coffee is decent enough and you can have a light meal there. It was quiet when we were there but the staff were still...More

Well worth the climb up the dodgy spiral staircase. We bought hot wine and sat with blankets over us and watched the world below and the birds feeding next to us. Yes the hot wine was very expensive at 7 Euros but we enjoyed the...More

Place with character and atmosphere! Once you reach, you have to climb stairs that immediately brings you into completely different “world”, letting you to enjoy the feeling “several centuries ago” Very, very sad that it’s going to be closed soon! Definitely place to return, worth...More

This is a place has great potential. But the place lacks medieval decor and the prices are way to expensive. 7EU for a hot wine and 5EU for a coffee not even a standard for an old town. I really wish they can adjust the...More

The stairs can be pretty hard to navigate as the cafe is on the walkway around the old wall and uses the old stone stairs, but it's a short climb to get a lovely view and decent hot wine and cakes. The prices are about...More

People, this place is wonderful to climb on the medieval stairway, very steep and tough. But in the top of the city wall there is average coffee and tasteless sweets are waiting for you for unusually high prices. By the way the price is not...More

A short but difficult climb up stone steps brings you to the Kohvik Danneborg. Given the cafe's location in the Old Town wall on Toompea, you'd expect to pay a more than average price for your drink. However, I was charged seven euros for a...More
