Butterfly lounge is a classy cocktail bar in the very heart of Tallinn that is created for people who value friendly and personal service, delicious drinks, food and quality entertainment. If you are looking for something classy but fun, then we are there for you from Monday to Saturday. Its established by two high end bartenders - Kristo Tomingas and Heinar Õispuu. Kristo and Heinar decided to pass the torch to young and eager Butterfly bartenders. Ahti Kiili and Rainer Tugevus accepted the honor and opened the new and renovated Butterfly Lounge in December 2019. Butterfly Lounge is mainly for people who value friendly and personal service, delicious meals, cocktails and quality entertainment by different local top DJ-s, instrumentalists, vocalists and dancers.

Best place in town!
The perfect place with amazing cocktails and delicious food. The best place in Tallinn to relax and have a good time. The drinks menu is very varied and interesting. For everyone, a cocktail can be selected according to his unique request. The cuisine is great. There are dishes for every taste, from baked mussels to alcoholic desserts. My rating is 5 out of 5.

This place still has one of the best drinks in town. Also that the atmosphere is always great and vibrant. Music is good and service very polite, quite quick and above all somewhat more personal than in other pubs/bars/lounges. The level of this place has remained as high as it was before and it is great to see and experience it.

I noticed that I wrote 7 years ago review of this place and it is so great to see, that they still are in a same place and they still are number 1 cocktail bar in Tallinn.
Great location in one corner of Old Town, near Viru Hotel. Stylish interior, terrace outside, friendly multilingual service and absolutely great cocktails and if you can't find anything from their loooong drink menu, you can give free hands to those professional mixers. Great place for having some fun with your friends

No service altough they were 3 boys behind the bar. They told us to go outside, pick a table and they're were gonna get us the menu. Well, we waited almost ten minutes, (there were maybe a handful of customers), we decided this is BS and left for a way better bar. They were also drinking on the job. Jeez, never again. We take our money elsewhere.

We went to Butterfly Lounge with friends. We got a separate table and waited almost 30 minutes to be served. The manager observed the situation and did nothing. We then went to the counter to order and were shouted at to sit at a table. We are not served from the bar. We went to talk to the manager and he told us. If you don't like it here, we are free to leave. Haven't seen such rude behaviour in a very long time. Customer service is awful. Not going back.

Tucked away in the old town of Tallinn, this cocktail bar is definitely worth a visit! The service was really great and the bartenders know their business inside out. Their drinks are out of this world (they make mixers and cordials in-house). Highly recommendable!

Very stylish but fun and relaxed place! Very good selection of cocktails with tasty ingredients. We also had a nice cheese plate.
Special thanks to our waiter Denis. Very good service and he was also able to give recommendations.
Another plus for good music! Nice older hits :)

Rude doorman that didn't let in because we weren't on dresscode. (Smart casual) We were on dresscode. Even if our outfits were the case, the doorman should have been more professional and explain the situation instead of being rude, grabbing my friend and pointing out that the rest of the group were not allowed in.

do not go. incredibly rude, disrespectful receptionist who claimed us to be underage (everyone over 21, happily showed ids), didn’t believe we had a reservation, and turned us down because apparently there’s a very strict dresscode what isnt mentioned on the website or when we called. will not recommend to anyone.

A cool place to visit great service and unique cocktails. A cool name and lots of butterfly decorations inside. If you like cocktails it is a must try for your visit :)

I came here with my sister and cousin expecting to have a drink and leave, and that is not how our night turned out! We enjoyed several amazing cocktails that surpassed our expectations. The bartenders were very attentive and fun to interact with! There was a live drum performance that was unlike anything I’d seen at a bar....it was awesome! I will say, the atmosphere was a little more formal than we thought so come dressed to impress!

Came to this place by myself and the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. I worked my way from the lower range of Havana Rum to the highest. They had four bottles and I must admit, I struggled with my fourth drink.
The place is nicely presented with good seating positions. Great music blasted out by their local DJ.

I could write two reviews for this bar.
Both would start that it is a bright modern bar... lighting is maybe too bright for a cocktail lounge, but I feel this is more of a venue.
Bar staff are good. Keen to listen to your preferences and happy to advise.
Ok review 1. We had two cocktail. Whiskey passion sour and a raspberry Julep both were superb. 5 out of 5 for taste balance and decoration.
Had we stopped there this would have been a 5 star review.
However we had the two signature cocktails. I had pine and passion which was good and interesting.. my wife had the elxyr speciality. To be honest it is the worst cocktail I have ever tasted. Butter and acrid with no balance. It was disgusting... even for bitter lovers this was too much.
It was also 13 euro.
If I were pernod ricard I would force them to remove my ingredients it is that bad.
However taste is individual and some may like it.
Saying that, I would definitely go back and have other drinks as the first two were superb.
