a little realism

I reviewed the place last in 2017, when it had recently opened; for Tallinn, four years is a long time for a food place to be hip. By now, they opened another branch, which usually is not a good sign (cashing in dilutes the magic), and ofc the WoltnBolt delivery habit of the pandemic has chance the Tallinn scene. So I ordered the special via delivery. It was a white pizza, but I received a call, they would go with tomato instead. Nice enough; okay. The pizza was not a success though - typical delivery sogginess and a bit rubbery crust, but toppings were problematic - the salsicca thick-cut, flavorless and kind of like Currywurst slices; the green looked grey and wilted; the promised parmigiano wasn't noticable; and no flavor overall so I needed to use both chilli and garlic flakes. Moral: If you order KPK, stick to the classics.

Is still the best pizza in Tallinn? Yes Is still good like the first year when the opened? NOPE Let's synthesize, for me they can put pineapple on pizza or kodujuust I don't mind until quality of pizza base and tomato sauce is fine. Pizza is still a good neapolitan way pizza but first year quality was higher, it looks like a trend in Tallinn to open a restaurant with fabolous quality and then step by step lowering quality( Pity! ). They do a lot of deliveries and they cannot manage well deliveries and clients sitting in, so you gotta wait and pizza masters stress out. I know the owner is very very skilled to make pizza but you don't see him anymore on the oven. Basically is like Barcellona without Messi. I still love the bohemian spirit of the place and be aware is still a 5 stars pizza place.

It doesn’t get better than this. As an Italian I can truly feel home. This pizza is even better than many pizzerias in Italy. I keep coming back and I keep finding the best tasting pizza. It’s not easy to make a great pizza and it’s even harder to be consistent. Kaja pizza it’s both great and consistent. Fantastic that’s all.

Great pizza with an espresso bar service and a restaurant waiting time

Although pizzas are realy tasty, it feels like waiting time becomes longer and longer with each time. For a place were you’re expected to eat your pizza and go, 40-50 min of waiting feels way too much. As they offer service to delivery companies, do not expect any priority as a client comming in from the street. Mind that this place is not in the city center (it takes around 15 min walk from the Balti Jaama central market to get there). As a person who loves visiting places instead of ordering delivery service, I think for a while I will prefer places who cherishes their direct clients a bit more (knowing that there are places who thinks of new branches just for deliveries or do not offer deliveries at all valuing direct contact with their visitors).

good Napoli style pizza, unfriendly service

Our friends and my husband and i were the first customers when the place opened. Our friend managed to place his order quickly but i had to wait until the customer service person talked to her colleagues, had a long conversation with another customer on the phone. So the result was that our friends were half-way through their pizza when we got ours. The pizza dough was Napolitan style and the pizza was quite good. However, we never got a smile or a friendly word from the people there. I was curious about how an Estonian Napoltan pizza would be but i would probably not go back - also because this a very small place and just for you to eat your pizza and leave quickly (the same concept at da Michele in Napoli that they are referring to)

Awesome pizza … but just order them! They don’t want to see you!!!

Great pizza, customer service level ZERO! Kana pizza has been my favorite place for years. I have been supported them a lot during the pandemic with my colleagues. Unfortunately, delivery services became their main source of profit and being a physical client is a total waste of time for them. You can be the only physical client, and they would have no problem to tell you that you have to wait 45 to 60 minutes to get one pizza. Today, I have been declined as a client despite the opening time. They had too many online orders. So sorry guys, you have lost a client for ever. I will NEVER go back to your place. Wish you good luck with your new strategy.

Not worth the visit. Order take away if you want pizza.

Bad service if you visit the place. They prioritize on-line takeaway orders. We walked in to an empty restaurant and were told that we would not get pizza as there is one hour line in on-line orders. Why do they keep they table in the restaurant if they do not serve visiting customers?

Hello Kristian. We respect all customers. If people want eat our amazing pizza at home, this is their choice. We have high demand on our product. I am not trying to be rude, but imagine if you order food from restaurant. You probably want to get it as soon as possible. So next time I advice you to call and pre order or at least ask is there a long waiting time. I wish you all the best. P.S. We have second place where is no big line. It is in Pärnamäe keskus.

You have to try it out

We went there on a busy Sunday evening. Pizzas were coming out of the owen every second and the smess inside was amazing. Waiting time was a bit long for our pizzas, but it was definitely worth it as they were probably the best ones I have had in Tallinn. Tiramisu was also very good. Service was remarkable and will definitely go back. After we had finished they ran out of pizza for the day, which is common there, so would recommend going a few hours before they close.

Good dough and pizza

Heard rumours about this place for a long time, but haven't a chance to try it. Now, when finally tried it, I can say that these rumours weren't wrong - pizza and dough is good! The pizza choice is wide which makes it easy for everybody from kids to adults to find a suitable one. However, ingredients were a bit "separate" from the dough.

No longer a restaurant.

Stunning pizza but it’s no longer possible to visit the restaurant to enjoy it fresh from the oven. After a visit before Christmas, where I had to wait 30 minutes because of the number of delivery orders, I succumbed and ordered through Wolt. The pizzas arrived cold and here I am back in the restaurant with another 30 minute wait as they have so many delivery orders. Guess money talks and Kaja pilgrims will have to seek out pastures new.

Awful pizza…. Nowhere near Neapolitano… Maybe at start they tried to match it…but not now… Owner and “co-owner” as she represents herself, although her name is not in company register, are rude and arrogant. Deleting negative comments everywhere in social media, so they can stay in “Top 50” no comments

Booking not respected - very unpolite

Thu afternoon at 3pm I called and asked a booking for 2 in an hour, at the site. Response was ok, and she asked a preorder, I said we order at site, easier. Ok. We took a taxi, arrived at a very dark street, near location are no other businesses. And getting in: " we are sold out". I asked whatabout our prebooking. No value, as we did not preorder in detail, only 2 pizzas in general. No customer (order) respect... not to be trusted.... very disappointing. Luckily we found later a customer friendly restaurant, which saved our evening.

Truly good pizza, in a nice atmo. Please consider, this place is tiny- take away or be ready to dine with strangers! 😃 They make 100 pizzas per day. If youre late youre out.

Best pizza (and beer!) I have ever had - seriously.

I ate the best pizza I've ever had. I'm almost speechlees about how absolutely great it was. I had Marinara and Raasiku Pilsner beer, and it was so special and mesmerizing that I actually had a tear in my eye (that has never happened before). I will visit this place from now on every time I go to Tallinn.

Eatable but not best.

Well pizza was eatable but not superb. Outside was only tables for two, if lucku can organize for three. Mayby not recommended to come. I believe theres better pizzerias in Tallinna.
