I visited Texas last week for a late lunch. Upon my arrival the waitress was very attentive and friendly. I gave my order and while waiting for my food they brought a pitcher of water and a hearty amount of snacs. The pitcher of water came in handy since I had not been eating spicy food for a while. For drinks I had kombucha, which is not served in many places. The order arrived as I was munching on the last snacs. It was tasty and filling and there was enough for someone who usually has to have two plates to not feel hungry.
TLTR: the waitress was very friendly, the food was good and the portions were hearty!

Went there with my family one evening. As soon as we stepped in we felt like home, atmosphere was just perfect and cozy. Really loved all the old stuff. I took chicken fried stake with oven potatoes, my wife took chicken tacos with some margaritas. She really loved them margaritas, told me that they where best ones she has drunk so far. The dishes where so delicious and huge that our child couldn't eat all of his burger with fries. We where full to our throats. If I remember correctly our waitress name was Eva, the sweetest girl there, always had smile on her face and fits perfectly to this places atmosphere. Overall we welt like we where in the real Texas restaurant in the United States. Definitely coming back not just for food and atmosphere but for the experience!

This is as good Tex Mex food as I’ve ever had, outside of actual Texas and New Mexico themselves. The decor is pretty cool for a restaurant in a Baltic Sea port pretending to be in the western USA, down to the “don’t mess withTexas” bin in the bathroom. The usual cliches are in there but it’s a welcoming place on a cold evening. The imported Mexican condiments give an authentic touch as well.
Our servers were friendly and service was prompt. Complimentary nachos were nice, and flaming up the tequila-soaked beef brisket fajitas was a theatrical touch. Dining companion had these and loved them, a ton of food which she declared to be the most delicious fajitas ever. I had the cheese enchiladas which were more like a whole mess of cheese, refried beans, rice and salad. And all the better for that. Presentation wasn’t beautiful, but the taste was way up there.
We had two main courses and two enormous margaritas for around €60. We are new to Tallinn so value for money is hard to assess but we thought it well worth it for the quality of food and the experience. A classic four and a half stars from me: DC a would go 5 all the way, I’m a little more precious about awarding the full five in my reviews. But never mind the star rating - if you want good service and great food then you will be well advised to check out the Texas Cantina.

Service was good, but not quite a natural, American copy, perhaps oversold. The food was crapp and for that money ( daily lunch cost € 45 for two) commooon! we were definitely expecting more. Ca 100g grilled and burnt salmon 18 € !? Next door (Reval cafe) same salmon 7 €. Waiting time 20min on a weekday… no way.
We were asked entering the place, was it out thirst time visiting them....yes it was, also the last time!

7 of us came here for lunch and were seated quickly and were served by a very friendly waitress. We all started with some margaritas that tasted lovely followed by some good food. We all had something different, the enchiladas and ribs being the stand outs. A couple of the boys were disappointed with the portion size of the tacos though. Everything was well cooked and tasted great though. Decently priced and the atmosphere was really good. A great place to go with friends.

The place was very busy,waiting time for dinner is quite long,so we ordered guacamole for starter to wait for main meal.After almost 1 hr wait the starter arrived together with our dinner.Dinner was barely warm and tortillas was cold.
We ordered - Fiesta suprema fot two,with be quite will be quite tasty if it was warm, disappointedly it wasn't.Service was nice. Final price 58.45 € -plus 2 beers and 1 cider.

Visited this place several times with friends. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The best thing were margaritas. They have wide selections of them - my favorite was habanero margarita. The waitress told us that they use their homemade habanero tequila in there, which is pretty cool.

We love spicy food and we’ve tried a lot of places here so we can say that this is probably 100% the only place to get real hotness. Our waitress Sam recommended the best dishes so we could try a huge variety of things and also gave excellent recommendations on the margaritas.
Enjoyed our night a lot and definitely visiting again!

Fantastic food, even better servive and overall an outstanding experience. As a person who enjoys spicy food, this is the place to come when visiting Tallinn. In addition, you can kindly ask the chefs to add some additional heat, so 3* is really not the maximum, but rather a recommendation. So, when you are searching for a culinary adventure, look no further - Texas is the place to be.

Tacos were fantastic. Service was amazing! One of our friends had birthday and waitress was so kind to congratulate and sing Happy birthday for here, and also brought a cake. Thank you Tia (our waitress) for service. Best place in Tallinn for sure.

There’s actually no nice things to say about our visit. The staff was rude not only to us but to other as well, including kids. Also, there were people celebrating somebody’s birthday and the workers had to sing to them, which came out really awkward due to their lack of interest and visibly being cocky. The waitresses seemed to be in a really bad mood and the questions we asked about the menu were answered with rolling eyes and sighing.
We didn’t like anything about our food or drinks either. They were seasoned really weirdly.
If we visit Estonia again in the future, we will surely find a better place to enjoy ourselves.

Living in Estonia, you can occasionally want something spicy. Texas puts spice in their food, their drinks, and their service! Every server is trained and hired to deliver perfect table-side hospitality, they're full of life, and the restaurant vibe matches all of this.
The food is absolutely wonderful! Margaritas con Jose Cuervo are top-class, and the drinks and atmosphere are as hot as the tabasco on the tables.

Never have spicy chicken wings made made me hiccup and my colleagues hate me for making them try. S tier service. Definitely recommend trying the 9-1-1 wings if you like spice. The chef even comes out to greet you when you order them.

Amazing good, Great service, lovely atmosphere. We were told upon arrival that would be approximately 45 minutes wait on the food, which only gave us time to enjoy a drink before dinner.
The margaritas are amazing.

I've actually been to Texas more times than I have fingers and toes combined and they have never let me down. The service has always been Perfect with a capital P. There you always feel like you are back at home. Always expected like a long lost friend. Always hoped to be seen again. And soon.
The food has been, is and (I will bet my name on it) always will be excuisite. If you're a fire loving dragon like me and love the heat and a good punch in the food, You will love it. But if you're a delicate flower that loves something good and tasty without the heat, you shouldn't also worry. Texas HonkyTonk & Cantina has got everybody covered. From the smallest in the family to the ones that like to get a great mouthfull. The menu is exceptional and everyone will find what suits them best.
Furthermore the drinkmenu is something that I would call EPIC. Try their cocktails, frozen margaritas or their house beer. There is something for everyone.
So, if you're ever in Tallinn and feel a need for something really special.... Visit Texas. 5 stars is not enough, I'll guarantee a 12.
