This place was suggested to us by a local guide as the best alternative to the touristy places on the main square. We were here on a quiet lunchtime at the end of the season. Excellent soups. The fresh apple juice (see photo) was also very good indeed. And for novelty (another local tip) visit the WC on the first... More

Staff welcome you and work hard to provide service. This is a good place to visit to watch the world go by in the beautiful city. Thank you.

We ate here twice during a recent trip. We have a severe dairy allergy and both nights the staff went out of their way to ensure there was no dairy in our meals. Really friendly servers and the food was fantastic. Quirky interior is really great.

One of many restaurants vying for tourist business on the main old town square. We chose it for its interesting, contemporary Estonian menu (and the view) The food was great (we had the white fish and the pork loin), well cooked with healthy ingredients and far more innovative than we would have expected in a square full of more normal... Kaerajaan serves Estonian food with a modern twist. Menu is rich and tastes very good! Prices are in range with the rest of the restaurants in Raekoja plats but you can enjoy a 15% discount if you have purchased the TallinCard.

I browsed the town square for a while before landing at this restaurant because it served authentic Estonian food. I love Italian and other cuisines, but I prefer to go local when I'm on holiday. Anyway, the food was first rate, and priced on the high side of reasonable. Service was OK, not especially fast, which is fine if you're... More

A good location and friendly service. Maybe expected a bit more of my salmon meal but nonetheless it was all in all a pleasant experience.

We were reluctant to eat at somewhere on the square but we're pleased we ate here. I had the beetroot salad and my partner had the herring salad. Both were fresh and tasty. The wine was reasonably priced. Service was good and it was a good place to watch the people walking by.

I ordered the baltic speciality beet root soup and burger with beet roots. Both meals were very tasty (incl. The fries). Price is rather high impacted by the masses of tourists stopping by. But I would still highly recommend this restaurant
