Stopped by during our cruise to St Petersburg. We only had a few hours to look around Tallinn, but ended up spending over one hour here due to the quality of food, drink and service. We even ordered an extra coffee, as it was so nice and the prices were very good too. Waitresses were all friendly and spoke good... More

After a long day walking around Old Town we decide to stop here and relax for a while. Hubby had cherry lemonade and chocolate cake and I had very quirky champagne milkshake. It was surprisingly good. You have to taste those handmade chocolates too!

I looked at about the first 10 - 12 reviews on Café Josephine, and they were uniformly positive; that surprised me. I have been in Tallinn now about three weeks on business, and so far this is the most unsatisfying experience I've had at a restuarant. Incidentally, I have been to one other restaurant that I am unlikely to return... More

My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around Tallinn during a cruise stop. In warmer weather they have about a dozen tables set up outside that allow you to enjoy the food and drink while still people watching. My wife had a hot chocolate that could only be described as decadent. We had planned on splitting a... More

The decoration is in old french style, cosy place. The coffee here is very goid but the staff should be a little more attentfull towards the clients.

Stumbled across this cafe during a walk around the town. It was so nice, we returned the next day! A good menu and selection of cakes.

When i walked into this cafe I found myself going "wow". It's quite French inside and the decor is not modern and its creates an old world atmosphere. The coffee and cakes are delicious and good value. Try the Vala Tallinn coffee, I came here a few times for coffee during the day.

What a wonderfully atmospheric and 'intimate' cafe this is - and what fantastic treats await inside! The best cakes - ever. The best ice-creams - ever. The best hot chocolate - ever. Not cheap, but worth every Euro!

Café Josephine is just like little Paris on Vene Street, at the gates of the Dominican Monastery. We have real coffee beverages, cakes and truffles. The café also offers small savoury snacks.
