Our table for 20 people was booked more than a month in advance. When we got to the restaurant, we were told that we have less than 2 hours for our meal and "every table has a certain time limit". It turned out that the...restaurant had mixed up our table with another one and claimed that we knew about the time limit, that they had called multiple times and that the meals had been ordered in advance. Nope, they had called someone else. The owner said he couldn't get his partner, the chef, on the phone to solve this confusion. We later learned that the chef was in the kitchen that evening. The entrees were fine, but the fish soup was bland and unseasoned. For the main course some people had fish (it was okay) and some had pork and lamb - which were both good. However, 3 of the beef tenderloins had gone rancid and smelled horrible. Also, all of the doneness levels were wrong. One was sent back to get it "well done", but it came back "medium". We later got new dishes for replacement - the meat was fresh this time, but the person who ordered "well done" previously, got a "medium" (and they couldn't even get that right - it was rare). At some point, people ordered more drinks and the waitress asked if it was okay if she took the used glasses for this. We thought there was a shortage of glasses and she was going to wash them. Then she returned with everyone's glasses, still containing the same ice and same straw, but turned upside down. Needless to say, we didn't stay for dessert, more so because the next party of people was already waiting for their table.More

The food was very nice but the service was not so good. The girls serving was not interested in their customers and lazy.

Well looking medium-rare pork. Seems, cook missed pork with a beef? Espresso was served without sugar and cold water.

We came to Hea Maa with great expectations after reading the Pärnu restaurant reviews. It took an hour to get our starters and the main dishes were ridiculously small. Super slow service throughout, seemed like the problem is in kitchen capacity, the waitresses were friendly...and active. We were not the only guests puzzled and wondering what is great in this place. Can not recommend.More

Nice dinner with family. Really good food. We ate starter plate, lamb & vegan salad & kids pasta and dessert. All were excellent. Highly recommended! Restaurant is popular so better book table in advance or be ready to eat outside on terrace. Very reasonably priced...for the quality of the foodMore

This was the second time we visited HeaMaa. Food was made in an excellent way but there was a small minus on my fish soup and pike-perch: both would have needed a bit more salt. Service and wine was excellent.

I ordered filet mignon (medium-rare!) and was served pretty cold cuts of pork tenderloin. How can you mess this up? Pork is never ordered medium-rare. After months of pork grilling due to quarantine, this is VERY DISAPPOINTING. Partner ordered duck breast and it came out...well done... Waitress was fine, but it does not make up for the disappointments of the kitchen. Overrated. Please visit and make a honest review.More
