Eat here if you want to leave hungry

A popular and busy place . Be prepared to wait for your food so don’t come here if you are really hungry . The disappointing fact was that when you leave , you are still hungry . I ordered a salmon poke bowl , there was probably 15 grams of salmon on my plate ( not bowl ) , about a spoonful of rice and a few lettuce leaves , paper thin slices of radish and some fresh berries . I’m not a big eater , but this portion was ridiculously small . My friend ordered a beetroot dish , it was, if possible even smaller . There was no mention that these were appetizers..... The waitresses were friendly though .

A hotel restaurant with character

Recently opened it had really got into the swing. The food was excellent, some very nice wines on the list. A beef tartar made exactly as it should (not ground meat) and duck breat cooked precisely as we requested. Service surprisingly fast.

Saturday lunch with family. Our food was tasty and well presented, however everything was barely lukewarm and service was incred

We visited for Saturday lunch with our family of 13. We had preordered our meals the week prior to our arrival. Our starters came out promptly but our drinks took more than a half an hour to arrive and our main courses were over an hour's wait. Also charging €4 for a small jug of tap water seems rather expensive. Food was tasty and beautifully presented but plates were cold and food barely lukewarm. Overall an average dining experience, would not be rushing to go back.

Worst experience ever

Worst restaurant experience I've had in Estonia during five years of stay in this country. Rude customer service 1) Not asking whether the food's good, we had to wait 30min until we saw our waitress and we started the conversation... Our food got cold as we didn't want to eat it before we receive an answer as obviously not too convincing to have an empty plate. 2) In a rush to chit-chat with friends at the bar, no time for customers. 3)We were sold ribs but the cut was clearly pork belly, and when mentioned to two different waitresses, their reply was that we're wrong, it's just a special cut. Not even bothering to check with the kitchen what they had done. These two cuts of pork are totally different tasting and one of them has no bones, clearly the ribs in this case. In addition, what a coincidence that the menu had pork belly soup. I guess the customer's always wrong in this restaurant. Ps. Noodles were really good.

The main flavour is ash

The quality of this restaurant has really dropped. In the menu is written one thing but they serve whatever they happen to have in the kitchen. Food is unbalanced, badly seasoned and meat overcooked/ chevy. Some ingredients taste very bitter and actually as ash. Also the service is poor. Nobody wants to say hello. Waiter prefers to chat with his friends instead of serving clients. And communicating to clients seems to be their weakest side anyway. Criticism they don t take well at all and think that everything is well there. So no wonder they are doing so badly.

It was purpose to be the best dinner in Pärnu

There was not many people visiting the restaurant, in early evening. Many waiters at least 7 was on duty but nobody of them came to our table. They was just chilling and was talking to each other. We were sitting there about 15-20 min and they would not serve us 4 people and we were sitting right in front of them. So we went to the next restaurant and got very good food and excellent service there and eat for about 400 euros and left a lot of tip there. We will never ever again visit Villa Wesset. This is just unexceptionable behavior.

Terrible and slow service

Service was a disaster. Waited 20min for taking our orders, had to ask two times. Waiters didn’t have any clue what to do. They brought water in big bottles but told that they had ran out of water glasses. Ordered 12cl of wine, got about 6cl. We waited for food about an hour and finally one of us gets his food and the waiter apologizes that he took the rest of our food to a wrong table. So we had to wait even more. One of the dishes didn’t arrive at all, we had to re-order it. So all of us ate our dishes at different time. Food was good though, but 2 hour waiting with two little children and chaos with orders is just unforgivable.

A friendly atmosphere, good place for business meetings. Bus hotel is quite old and it requires restoration. The food is average, Caesar salad is too simple, the sauce tasted just like mayonnaise.

Shabby without the chic

Very limited parking at hotel so we were forced to leave our car two streets away. Whilst outdoor restaurant area looked nice, the entrance to reception lacked the same kerb appeal. Once inside, the very dated decor and dusty staircase did little to reassure us. Cleaning materials and dirty plates and glasses greeted us on the landing and we had to navigate our way past two abandoned bedside tables in the corridor leading to our room. The bedroom was bright and airy and the bed comfortable however there was a strange smell and the furniture looked like it had come from a flea market. No tea/coffee making facilities or complimentary water. Hot drinks were available downstairs at a refreshment ‘station’ - €3.50 a cup. The glass shelf above the bathroom basin (no plug) made face washing dangerous and the bath top with attached shower head was a slightly odd feature of the corner shower. On the plus side, the breakfast buffet offered a decent selection of hot and cold food, including sparkling wine. Location great for access to beach and town centre but overpriced

Good location but food was far from good and service very slow.

In a lovely location and nicely set up, but it took us an hour to get our food, despite there being loads of staff. The poke bowl was the worst we ever had, the chicken in the chicken salad and kid's nuggets was very overdone. We didn't receive the ketchup and bread until after we'd finished our mains...

Absolutely amazing

5 out of 5 for this restaurant! Food and service were just amazing. We had smoked eel and smoked duck as appetizers and beef cheek and quail as mains, everything accompanied by delicious pairings of roasted and crunchy vegs, berries, mushrooms and creamy sauces. We reserved a table for 2 on a Saturday afternoon by calling just a few minutes earlier. Our waitress Victoria was lovely. Highly recommend!

This was a highlight of this trip. Sooooo good food that I regret not visiting this sooner. Pelmenid was a great starter. Sammon with a good glass of wine. And to top it off a lovely chocolate cake that was so sinfull you just must try it. Will be visiting again next year.

Awful waiting

I have EVER NEVER waited for nearly 2 hours for the food like that. Even the waiter CONFIRMED to us just took 1 hours for waiting time. Terrible feelings and angry behaviors mixed with sophiscated moments as the food wasn’t good as expected. What problem with kitchen and staffs and there were so many waiters and waitresses! Never come back.
