Food was really nice. Especially we liked that restaurant have season specials for really affordable price although this special doesn’t have vegetarian alternative, and this is the only minus what I can come up with. Really nice place. Service is at really good level, waiters come often enough to help with your needs, but not to much that it starts to be annoying. They also knows exactly what is in your plate or what kind of wine they serve

Amazing food, slow service

The food at this restaurant is amazing, the only issue seems to be the wait time. We waited almost one hour for a cocktail and entree, then once people started to leave then our mains were out before we even finished the entree. The food quality made up for the long wait time as it was cooked very well. We had the grilled fish and the beef tenderloin. Both were cooked well although the fish seemed it had been sitting on the plate for too long before it came out to be served

Easily best restaurant in Estonia

Me and my husband had the chefs choice 5 course menu, which took us on a nice adventure through local produce. Absolutely stunning! Our waitress also recommended great wines to go with the courses. Its sad to see that such a gem is rather empty during dinner time, you guys deserve a lot more attention than you are getting. Regarding the issue a lot are addressing here - the high prices - you are paying for the quality, doesnt matter where you are (in a city or in Pühajärve), if you want quality produce and highly qualified staff to produce it and serve it, you will have to pay for it. Our waitress already spoiled a little surprise that there is soon coming a new 8 and 10 course chefs menu - We will see again soon!

As a frequent visitor of GMP, who sometimes travels from Tartu to Pühajärve just because of the delicious food and service, I have to say for the first time that this visit was a complete disappointment. The customer service person was very unprofessional - she forgot to bring many things to the table and was confused about what we wanted. While a basket of bread and a chef's welcome food are usually brought before the main courses as na nice touch, neither of these was brought. When asked, they said that "the chef is busy". After stating the request for bread while eating the dinner, they asked how many breads we would like (I haven’t experienced that waitress asks a customer these things, they look at the size of the group…) and a bread basket was brought for which we had to pay 4€ in the end, although it should come with the dishes (as usual). Also, when ordering sparkling water, a bottle was brought to the table, without glasses (not to mention that it would be poured out). We had to ask again. The non-alcoholic Mohito was so sour and tasteless that upon further investigation we realized that the glass just contained sparkling water with mint and lime. Brown sugar, sirup and other additives were probably forgotten. I wonder do they taste it before bringing it to customers… And finally, no one asked how we wanted to pay the bills for several families. Everything was simply put together, where we then had to share all the food ourselves in order to pay. Usually, as a cute niche, chocolate candies with a note are also included with the bill, which nobody got this time. In a restaurant where you spend over 70 € sentence "the chef is busy" is not valid, to forget the bread basket and everything mentioned above, where you have to ask for everything yourself. I would understand if the restaurant was full of people, but the question would be what does such a top restaurant do with a full house. I think they have changed the staff or something who are not that good as some time ago. Really, really disappointed this time and for the first time.

Great food, friendly service and a million dollar view

The terrace has a gorgeos view on the lake. The service was very professional, friendly and smooth. The food was delicious, specially the duck that really stood out (and I have had a few). The appetizers were nice and made of local farmers' products. Very nice bread! Chocolate fondant was traditional but I'd prefer vanilla ice-cream with it (not a peppermint one). To sum it up we had a great evening and would definitely recommend this place.

Very nice food but service is really unprofessional team change

Always a lovely place to come back to. Children's menu could have more options though. Extra plus that it is a dog-loving restaurant and hotel. Unfortunately though, the service is truly failing with all the new people and previous stuff not really caring so much about visitors any more. TRULY needs training and improvement.

Great lunch with value for money

As last year we had here the best lunch during our summer holiday, we decided to go back with our friends. The menu was different but very good and interesting. The biggest surprise was "karsotto - like risotto, but from oats! Local fish and meat was also excellent. At the very end, the bill was very customer friendly. The service was fast and also kids friendly!

You can tell a lot for the place if they are making effort on kids menu. Kids food was thesty and "rich" very good. One of the best my kids had in estonia. Always good to see the made effort on kids side as well. What goes for starter, main and desert. Very delicious... very good definetely will to back. Everything on point, food, stuff, place it self.

Great Food

A nice and modern Restaurant with charming service. The food is high end and the wine selection very wide. Great place for a nice tete a tete and family lunch or just for people who love great food and atmosphere.

Surprising experience

Nice atmosphere, was blown away by flavors. Tasted in two nights 6 different dishes. wide menu, many options to choose from. Cant wait to go vack. Wine selection by class - not so good

Poor service, pricey, small portions, but food is ok

While writing then one of us is still waiting for food. That says it all, we have been here for a long time. Portions are small and expensive, taste is alright I guess.

Nice hotel and restaurant

Very beautiful place, lakeview, good hotel and service. The staff is always very friendly. Hotel is cosy and clean. One of the best restaurants in the area!
