We've had a very nice evening and had the 4 course tasting menu. There was a nice vibe is the restaurant, our waitress Laura was very friendly and explained all the dishes with a nice story. Will come back :) But leave the schnapps afterwards....They were a bit expensive. Ooh and the desert was amazing :)More

The six-course tasting menu paired with the vine is something to remember! Not only because of the unique tastes but also profesionaly introduced historical context of the Lithuanian cuisine. The atmosphere was great, marked by restaurant team's attention to every detail. It was a great...journey exploring synthesis of the countries' food heritage and achievements of contemporary kitchen. This was my second visit to Ertlio namas, with a different set of a four-course tasting dinner. Both times we had perfect time and excellent food. This time it was beaver pate, crayfish soup with smoked tench, guinea fowl with chanterelles and ice cream with...baumkuchen, and, of course, their signature bread with spiced butter. Food was lovely, though the soup at first tasted bland but when combined with smoked tench it acquired perfect taste. Wines were very much OK, though the red one slightly lacked in body. The portions are indeed tiny, the four course menu might be too small for a man, but filling for a woman. Service was very pleasant and fast. Yes, I must admit that the short lectures on food history were a bit stiff and not really necessary in our case because we knew all the facts that were told, so only listened politely.More

Great tasting menu with a good recount of Lithuanian food history and a good wine selection. The waitress was a bit scary but the food is good! The menu was creative with a good selection of ingredients, the dessert was probably the weakest part.

The six-course tasting menu was an excellent, nuanced taste journey into Lithuanian food culture. The wines selected for the menu were perfect match with the food in our opinion. The serving was also good, our waitress spoke good English. Really great and indescribably tasty dishes.

We had a superb six course dinner with wine pairing. Every dish was introduced with a short story on how the dish was linked to Lithuanian gastronomy. All dishes were beautifully plated and were very tasteful. We were surprised that our children only paid half...the price, much appreciated. Highly recommended.More
