This is more an experience than a restaurant. Wonderful journey through history of food and tastes. Dishes melts in the mouth and service is just impeccable. I believe they only make tasting dinners, so make sure to book in advance. Just one thing – charging...3 euros for tap water, really? Hey, management, really, 3 euros for table water while bill for two is 100-150 EUR anyway? I still think this is a five-star experience, given great fusion of service and food, but decision to charge for tap water is just odd.More

I recommend visiting this restaurant as a must when you are in Vilnius. First, it is located in the city center on an old street and has an elegant interior. Secondly, you will definitely be impressed by the dishes that you will eat. These are...incomparable and unforgettable tastes, and your eyes will be delighted by the original presentation of dishes. The waiters impressed me with their attentiveness and knowledge of the history of Vilnius, the building of the restaurant, the origin of dishes and wines. Gentle music will relax your mind after everyday tasks. You will feel like you are at the reception of the Lithuanian king⚜️👑More

Great experience of "haute cuisine" in Vilnius. They make contemporary food out of traditional Lithuanian products and tell short stories about every period that food represents.

Restaurant gives an opportunity to try Ukrainian historical dishes followed with short and interesting stories about country’s kitchen history. We also loved the idea that a part of restaurant’s income is contrubuted to support Ukraine. Staff was attentive and very nice. Food was delicious and...each dish had a nicely chosen wine pairing. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience.More

It is just right from the start- the concept, stories, and of course the food. Every little component just makes sense. We have tried 6 courses and all of them were followed by interesting insights regarding Lithuania's and Ukraine's historical cuisines. Recommending!

Superb dining experience! Had a 6-course dinner with the wine pairing which seems like an optimal option to bring out flavors of nicely balanced dishes. Attentive, knowledgeable staff that provides an unforgettable warm and cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere.

I was recommended here by a local if I wanted to try a twist on Lithuanian food and was not disappointed. The food was delish, I went for the 4 course tasting meal and was surprisingly full! I was attended to by Greta and she...was so lovely!!! She made me laugh, extremely attentive and also recommended wonderful drinks. A wonderful evening to a wonderful break away fr home.More

We choose this restaurant based on other reviews and the restaurant's own web page. That was a mistake. The place does not live up to its promise. Reading the reviews again I suspect many of them aren't even real. Most reviewers only have one review...each and they are writing in a way that simply isn't convincing. We had the 6 course menu with the wine pairing. The first dish, cured trout was the best. Tasty and it went nice with the sparkling wine that came with it. From there it went downhill. All of the dishes lacked in flavour. The soup was the only dish that was served warm. The chicken dish I wouldn't even give a 1 of 5 because 1 is at least a positive number. I don't go for a degustation dinner to have a piece of cold, tasteless and completely dry chicken. We mentioned it but according to the waitress it couldn't have been dry "because it was made sous vide". People at the table next to us also left chicken on their plates. A tiny piece of deer in the next dish was overdone, dry and cold. The dessert was cake with ice-cream. OK, but it's the kind of tart you can get at any pastery shop for €4. Here it was cut in half. The serving was quite absent during the evening. Still, they didn’t seem very busy. I had to ask them to fill up water for my girlfriend after her glass had been empty for 20 minutes. The wine package consisted of 5 wines, 4 of them were good but not in any way spectacular. 2 of the 5 wines the waitress forgot to introduce. (Also to the table next to us.) The first of these wines I knew already and the second time it happend I had given up on the whole thing. Overall the evening was a disappontment. The food was flavourless, cold when it should have been warm and the meat (chicken, deer, -not the duck) dry. The presentation of the food was good. The serving was not really present and the room we were sitting in lacked ambience. There is no reason to go to this restaurant. We can all have a bad day but the mistakes here were too many.More
