This was my second visit to Ertlio namas, with a different set of a four-course tasting dinner. Both times we had perfect time and excellent food. This time it was beaver pate, crayfish soup with smoked tench, guinea fowl with chanterelles and ice cream with...baumkuchen, and, of course, their signature bread with spiced butter. Food was lovely, though the soup at first tasted bland but when combined with smoked tench it acquired perfect taste. Wines were very much OK, though the red one slightly lacked in body. The portions are indeed tiny, the four course menu might be too small for a man, but filling for a woman. Service was very pleasant and fast. Yes, I must admit that the short lectures on food history were a bit stiff and not really necessary in our case because we knew all the facts that were told, so only listened politely.More
