This is my favourite place in Vilnius, having tried most things on the menu. We always get different dishes, with naan bread and rice on the side, and share between us. They’ve always accommodated any changes and wishes we’ve had (allergies, spicyness, etc.).

This was easily one of the nicest indian meals I have ever experienced. We were greeted at the door and within minutes taken to our seat. The service was prompt and soon we were digging into our chosen dishes. However, as each dish was almost...finished the plate was whisked away until the table was empty, and we had no reason to stay. If only they would let me wipe my plate with the leftover naan bread, but it was taken away too.More

I’ve travelled a lot around the world and I enjoy Indian food. I have to say this is up there with some of the best Indian food establishments I’ve been in. I really enjoyed this meal and would highly recommend. Really can’t see where the...bad reviews come from. Well done I would definitely return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️More

Unpretentious, not over the top decor as some Indian restaurants do. The food speaks for itself. Definitely worth a visit. Prices are extremely reasonable given the high standard of the food. Had to hold back going 2 nights in a row. Great service, happy and...helpful. Luxuriously soft basmati, aromatic garlic naan & melt in your mouth, well spiced chicken curry.More

First let me start with the positives in regards to Sues Indian Raja in Vilnius. I dined there last night 21st Dec 2019 for a Christmas treat (I am not a very wealthy person, so yeah it was a special Christmas treat for my partner...and I ).I was met at the door by a very warm and welcoming woman who took our coats and guided us to a lovely table with a full view of the Christmas Tree and Vilnius Cathedral. The waitress we had was brilliant and so indeed were the other staff member who were I am pleased to say authentic Indians. I ordered AVIENOS “RARA GOSHT" (a Lamb dish) which cost me €13 plus €5.50 for Basmati rice cooked with green peas. For that I got 3 cubes of Lamb (a small mouthful I would class as I cube of Lamb ) serviced in the relevant sauce which was delicious and very tasty but the meal was over almost over before it began it was such a small portion (no I am not a person who would sit down and would eat a full chicken in one sitting ,I have a moderate appetite). That worked out at €6.61 per cube of Lamb !!!! €6.61thats a crazy price. My partner Edita ordered LAMB KORMA at €14.50 plus plain rice at €2.50. The Korma was the furthest thing that I ever seen or Edita has ever eaten as a Korma dish. The dish was a white sickly colour (Korma to me is always a corn colored yellow) with was no coconut and no cashew nuts that she could taste in it.When I enquired from the Indian staff I was informed it was Korma from a different region of India then the one I was used to eating all over the world from New York, London, Manchester to Berlin.PUT IT ON THE MENU IF ITS DIFFERENT. I only have the staff members word for that If this is Korma from a specific area but to Edita and I who would be regular diners of Indian cuisine this just was NOT Korma.I will go back to restaurant as it has many pluses but guys n gals you need to be clear about what the customer is ordering and not just leaver it to chance which seems to be the way it works in Sues Indian Raja Vilnius.O and charging €1.50 for a jug of tap water well there are only words to describe that restaurant policy. We arrived in Vilnius on the Saturday of the lighting of the Christmas tree in the square at the end of Gedimino Avenue. As we left the Novotel, hundreds of people were making their way down to watch this event. We had planned to go...to Sue's Indian Raja after reading about it online. Initially, there were no tables available so we made a booking for the next evening. As we were about to leave, a table was vacated. We were in luck as it was right at the window which gave a fantastic view of everything that was happening. We really liked the Chicken Jalfrezi, Vegetable Madras, naan and rice, with a Sviturys beer for me and a glass of ed wine for my wife. The staff members were very organised, couteous and hospitable, ensuring a very enjoyable evening.More
