I don’t know restaurant that has worse service than here! Waitresses are so bad and so careless, they just stand around the bar and can’t welcome the guests or take a quick order. I don’t recommend this place for anyone!!! I was embarrassed in front...of my guests for their attitude and they don’t even have English menus, so when I came with foreigner guest waitress told, that I have to translate menu by myself to the guest. They were so unhelpful! I’ve been here so many times and they’re always the same... They’re so rude and unpleasant.. All of them..More

The place was where we had our first dinner at Vilnius. And it is an Italian restaurant. The food was prepared carefully and of course it was nice. They have very nice local beer which I didn’t really get the name. And coffee was also...good. We had slight problems talking to the staffs due to limited English. None of us speaks Russian nor the local language, unfortunately. But the overall experience was wonderful.More

Extraordinary pizzas, high quality ingredients, good prices and care for your requests. I'm not tolerate of lactose and ask to prepare half pizza (we eat two) withous cheese. And I got my part with no cheese. I owe for that.:)

Nice restaurant, cozy, pleasant atmosphere. Food is good(although we have waited it more than 30 minutes and no one has told us we have to wait that much,no sorry, no smile,no attention. The owners really must work on it, because that's the key to the successful...restaurant.More

Thank Goodness Its Friday!!! Booked on a whim since we had never eaten there before. Easy parking nearby in the evening is a real plus. Modernish decor with a large Pizza Oven in one corner of the ground floor. When we dined there upstairs seemed...to be the the domain of students and it was very busy. Downstairs more subdued and on Fridays there is live music. The live sax playing was excellent and enjoyable which made the very long delay in food service seem acceptable ( we waited almost an hour!!) Food was good, Duck Breast and the other Prawns. Although to be honest my prawns were a little overcooked and somewhat dried out. Pleasant staff but not enough of them given the number of diners. Overall the ambience was very good but I think that other week day evenings may be less than satisfying. We would go again but only on a Friday and booking is advisable.More

Our party pre booked a table for 7 people, hardly a huge group, however, better safe than sorry. We were seated immediately and within a few minutes they took our drinks order along with some shared starters. 45 minutes later they had brought one drink...and only 2 of the starters with assurances that the rest would follow, 15 minutes later I complained and they then informed us they did not have any champagne in stock, nor most of the wine on the menu. I made a small complaint to our waitress who passed me into the bar man (it later transpires our waitress is in fact the manager of the restaurant). The food was average, the service incredibly poor and the restaurant only had 2 other small groups to cater too. After our meal I approached the manager (the same manager who ignored me and passed me onto a member of her bar team earlier) and listed all my issues, she apologised and said her staff were having a bad day and that she could only offer an apology and 20% discount on the bill. I asked why, if she was the manager and noticed the poor service earlier, had she not attempted to fix it or approach us on her own to apologise, she ignored my comment......insult to injury, the bill arrived with only a 10% discount applied. In summary, the restaurant has all the potential to be very good, however, I would not recommend it, nor visit again due to poorly trained staff, rubbish customer service and sub standard management.More

They have nice inner yard, quite good food. Earlier I was visiting this place often. Now I have a feeling that they lost their energy and willingness to put some extra effort.

We visit this restaurant well...once in a few months. The last time we were here was on 15th of March. We were three:my husband, little son and me. We choose this place when we want a comfortable place for family because they have game zone...for children (small one,but good they have it!!!) and chairs for little child. Also, they give a painting activity for children:) Let's talk about food: we love pizzas here, they are fresh, with actual number of ingredients, delicious. They serve pizzas in a wooden plates, how it should be everywhere. We usually eat Drasuoliu, quatre formagge, chicken and spicy pizza. Really good pizza!!! Try it. Be careful with beverages:they are quiet expensive:)More

A cheap place to have this gorgeous pizza we ever tried. But when the time came for pasta we were disappointed since it wasn't even close as good as the pizza we just had.

We had one of the many pasta's. Very nice, portions are not that big so if you have a big appetid you might want to order a starter. As we did but didn't get. They were a bit 'of' when we ordered wine.

Restaurant located close to main tourist streets. The place was nice, though the sofa-like seats were so soft that you felt like sitting on the floor instead. Waiter didn't speak english too much, but we managed to order our foods and drinks with help of...the menu. We ordered only pizzas there, one prosciutto and one pepperoni. It didnt take too long to get the pizzas but when the waiter arrived he had a wrong pizza with him. As the title states - pepperoni had magically turned to fish in the oven. When the waiter saw our mezmerized faces he asked: "You ordered pepperoni, this is sardine - you eat it?" And after an awkward moment of silence he returned to the kitchen to make a new pizza for us. So, about the food. When the right pizza arrived it was more or less decent. Pizzas were a bit expensive when compared to average price in Vilnius restaurants. Two pizzas, one cider and a beer cost us ~20€. After the sardine episode we were too confused to try the desserts. We both believe that this restaurant serves good food, last sunday just was an unlucky day for the waiter. We might go there again one day and then make a new review.More

Basilico is a very nice restaurant with great and cheap food. We ate with 4 persons for more or less 36€: 4 main dishes (1 pizza and 3x pasta) + 4 drinks and 4 desserts. We very much enjoyed or food and didn't have any...complaints. We most certainly would recommand this place to anyone who wants to eat great and cheap food in Vilnius.More

I've had a very tasty pizza and I can tell that it looked like a traditional Italian pizza. Located not too far from the center, is a lovely stop to do. The only "bad" thing....maybe...garlic olive oil everywhere (just my personal opinion).
