Our family (2 adults & 3 kids) had a lunch in Brussels Mussels in Vilnius. And long story short - nice place, a bit crowded on Sunday at the lunch time and if you are going there - you might need to think of making of reservation in prior. Interior look nice. Music has a lot about the restaurant name Brussels, as also the beer card has a lot with Belgium. You will have to deposit one your shoe if you’ll want to have a glass of one special kind of their beer. But better try it yourself. What about the food… We liked all but mussels. Mussels were prepared well, tastes were OK too, but when you realise that these were not properly cleaned and you still get some sand between your teeth..? C’mon… Unshelled mussels shells is the thing that may ruin all the good experiences even if we understand that kitchen is overloaded, but if I pay 16EUR per 1 kg of mussels, I want these prepared and cleaned properly.

Came for breakfast on Tuesday were the only table is the restaurant. Ordered food: curd puffs, chia pudding & Benedict eggs, expected to have it in 25 minutes max. as my husband is a chef and knows the process and we were the only guests in the restaurant. We had to wait for 50(!!) minutes before the food was served (my husband had to leave hungry in order not to be late for fork). The food was good, but why have to wait that long?
The restaurant was not ready for the service...suppliers kept coming one after another trough the main entrance bringing boxes of food, waiters were arranging tables, barmen was fixing something loudly behind the bar. We felt like we sitting in the restaurant that has not opened yet.
We had to ask for the bill 3 times before we got it and I had to go to the admin to ask for the change as no one was seen to bring it. it took like 10 minutes in an empty restaurant.
Again, the food is really good but the service is so much disappointing.

Everything went very smooth with in this place from table reservations and Covid requirements to food and service. We had dinner at their outdoor terrace, it was very cozy there. The service was excellent, well timed, friendly and polite. They have great variety of drinks to offer, including some non-alcoholic options, that were very good. The portion size for a price point of main dish, was a little bit small to my personal preferences, but I had dessert to fix that :D the only thing that was a bit unpleasant, was the loudness of DJ's music. The music was good, but as we were seated near the speakers and social distancing from our friends table, it was rather impossible to talk with them

As a Belgian, I never go to belgian restaurants outside of the "motherland" to avoid disappointment and, frankly, because it doesn't make much sense. However, as I've been away for quite a while, I decided to visit this restaurant following nice reviews here and a positive visual inspection of what was on the tables of the terrasse. Being reassured, I went inside. Six oysters with a cup of champagne to start with followed by the classical mussels and Belgian fries (French are usurpators) with a beer. For desert, I had two gin tonic. Everything was great except the sauce served with the fries. I've never seen that type of sauce anywhere in Belgium. I guess it is more a Lithuanian type of sauce which corresponds to what local ask for. Fair enough. So, my suggestion to the management: offer your customers the choice of something local or the typical more Belgian mayonnaise/sauce frite. I'm pretty sure they will all turn mayo crazy at some point!

During my many trips to Vilnius this restaurant has become one of my favorite olaces for lunch as well as for dinner. The food quality is exeptional and the friendly and helpfull staff makes sure to give you a pleasant experience. The restaurant has a wide selection of beer which makes Brussel Mussels a mandatory stop for beer lovers. During summer the restaurant offers outside dining. Some evenings music mixed by their DJ.

The place is really nice for a nice evening out. We had some starters. Oysters, fried cod and Dutch cheese plate (do not recommend) then ordered mussels with different sauces and the meatballs with chorizo sauce. Simple but very good! They also have a big variety of Belgium and Trapist beers. La Chouffe from tap :D
The staff is the best. They are super friendly. Have been here for 2nd time and will come back.

When we arrived we were told that there are many place reserved. We needed a table for 4 , the hostess looked at her book and then arranged a table for us, which was awesome. The live DJ was also a really nice touch, not sure if they have a live DJ everyday but it was a nice touch for sure. We ordered Mussels in White wine and garlic square accompanied by pomme frites and the kids had Pomme Frites . The menu is a QR code found on every table which is actually really smart. For drinks we had 1 Heineken and 1 Hoegaarden and the kids had some apple juice we promised them some Ice cream so that they would finish the Pomme, they sat there calmly and watch a full length film Coco.
The mussels arrived and we tucked in and within 5 min they were all gone. Sauce was soup like which I don’t appreciate I prefer a cream based sauce especially when served with Chips
Over all it was a good meal. Oh yes the ice cream is amazing.

Booked for small gathering of friends.
Atmosphere is lively with nice usual trendy music, but food was below average. We ordered sharing platter, ceviche, beef tarter, mussels and ribs for main course, all are just satisfactory, nothing surpising. Also Belgian fritters were just frozen thick cut chips, so another dissapointment.

This restaurant/bar is definitely a place if you are looking for a non-binding enviroment with stylish surroundings for a casual meeting located in the city center. Wonderful drink (especially beer) selection and friendly staff will make your evening so special! My advice is to go with a sharing concept and try as much starters as possible because that’s their strongest side! Everytime we come here we take tuna tartar because it’s simple yet well balanced. Prawns are good as well. During our last visit we also tried their ceviche, cheese donuts and cod in a beer batter. And the winner was cod. We were lucky because sometimes these kind of dishes tend to be greasy and it this was not (and it was truthly delicious)! For my personal taste, cheese donuts in their previous menu were much better and ceviche….well, I’ve tried much better ones. But there’s a big selection of starters so no matter what you choose to drink, you will always find something to eat that perfectly goes with it!

Decoration is super nice, for sure a very nice place to have a dinner or a drink. also very good point for the service, we had a little bond waitress super dynamic and very professional..still rare nowadays in Vilnius.
Overall food was good, but as a Belgian, I would not say everything is spot on. Waterzoi served as soup, was really good. Meatballs as main dish had sadly absolute no connections with Belgium. A simple google search can show wha Belgian meatball are, and it is clearly not at all what I had. If not considering the meal is not Belgian at all, it was actually rather good and well presented. As a Belgian, from Liège, I know also a bit about Liege Waffle, and there...there is clearly big place for improvement. At least it looked like a liege waffle, but...it had just around 50% of the savor supposed to have, and also was far to spongy, and truly even not enough cooked....so, not much point given to the waffle.

Had a good evening here. Food was excellent and good range of Belgian and local beers. There do mussels of course but lots of other surprising things like cauliflower steak and some great salads. Steaks and ribs for meat lovers too. I had the mussels with spicy chorizo and red curry which were really tasty

Average mussels, but great snacks. Cold and hot.
Amazing interior and I was amazed by very friendly and professional staff.
In the future, I’m not gonna take mussels in this restaurant but maybe I’m gonna try other dishes.

I have visited this place twice in february - once with my colleagues from work and the second time with friends on Valentines day. It is very popular place now in Vilnius,so you need to book a table in advance. It is so popular that you most definitely even sit shoulder to shoulder with local celebrities or businessmen.
Pros: 140 types of beer. Good food (definitely should try octopus, and fish snack also pretty good). Service is nice.
Cons: As the prices are realy high comparing to other posh places in Vilnius, they should do something about the bad smell that comes from the kitchen.
All in all its a nice place.

Visit in this restaurant will stay in my memory for a long time. Kind welcome done by Manager at the entrance. I was astonished with an interior design of this place, it is creating a really nice atmosphere there. I decided to taste beef fillet, which was prepared as I asked. Sides matched great to the meat. Great service done by Ugne 😉
I really recommend this place. If I have an opportunity to visit Vilnius again, I will come back to this place.
