In the a historic church build in 1768 in the heart of Vilnius is our restaurant ''Pirmas blynas'', literally translated to 'The first pancake'. We are a Pancake-house with a culinary and social mission. In our social restaurant your delicious pancakes are prepared and served by people with a disability. We are offering a variety of freshly made sweet and savoury pancakes, salads, a soup of the day and we serve coffee roasted by our own employees.

The fact that Pirmas Blynas (first pancake) is a social business is a good reason to visit this restaurant, their delicious pancakes and cosy atmosphere is an even better one.
Their menu is full of large sweet and savoury pancakes that are equally filling and feel healthy.
They offer daily lunch menus as well!
Would love to see an introduction a buckwheat flour pancakes.

It was my first visit and knowing customer service not being very high in Lithuania in general, i was quite surprise how lovely and welcoming my visit at Pirmas Blynas was.
The staff host clients with care and attention, ordering is very easy, food is creative and delicious.
An absolute must if you are in Vilnius!

Located in the Old Town area, this pancake cafe, whilst spacious and spartan in decoration, has a cozy feel to it nonetheless. Especially as it run to help persons with disabilities.
The food was delicious and the portions VERY big and the waitstaff were kind, friendly & attentive. It was a little difficult for me to communicate with them, but their order system - guests fill out an order form stating how many portions of each food & drink item is wanted - helped a lot.
The cafe serves a selection of both sweet & savoury pancakes, as well as both cold & warm drinks (juice, softdrinks, coffees & teas). Overall, a nice experience that Iwould definitely recommened to tourists to Vilnius.

This place was highly recommended, so we went for breakfast. We had a huge plate of beaitiful pancakes and coffee. The pancakes were delicious and filling. This restaurant within a restored church is run by a community project. The service and staff wete incredible. Definitely worth a visit

Wow! Super amazing place! We had lunch here, I couldn't stop thinking about the pancake I had - I went to sleep with the memory of the amazing taste and woke up wishing that I could go back there as soon as possible. For a vegan this is not something that happens that often when eating out in a place that doesn't specialise in vegan food alone. Incredible atmosphere, tastiest food and just pure delight all around. Top place in Vilnius for sure!

I visit this cafe every time I go to Vilnius. All the pancakes they serve are always really delicious, the same for soups and other dishes. Also, I love that all the workers there are people with disabilities, and you can see how they're trying their best to serve you, it's always very cute. If you're wondering where to eat in the Old town, this place is a must vist!

Amazing pancakes IN THE CHURCH!
We saw wonderfull pictures of the pancakes and our expectations were more than fulfilled. They loved in the church just one week, but we couldn't noticeamba thing of it: it was nicely decorated and every one was very professional. We are from Belgium, and the kind girl who was our waitress spoke perfect English. The cappuccino's were large and tasty!
The pancakes (banana and chocolate, and the one with bacon and apple) we're really big and tasted as they looked: perfect! The fact that this a social café is just one more reason to visit this place!!

We visited this restaurant during a business trip just before Covid. The pancakes were good and the staff was very friendly. The owners Tim and Karolina also came by, we had a good chat about how they started this restaurant and the good cause they are supporting while making delicious food. I would definitely go back when Covid is over and we get a chance to travel again!

Set in a church, they offer flavoursome crepes at great prices. The concept is worth highlighting where people with disabilities arr helping bring the food and keep the place running.
Hummus crepe was extraordinary and quite filling, highly recommend.

Delightful staff greeted us on arrival at this rather decrepit looking Church. Inside was a bit like sitting in a crypt, without the crypt ceiling. Weird, but strangely it seemed to work.
I was slightly ashamed that our waiters and waitresses had so much more to cope with in life, but they could speak English and I could speak no Lithuanian. Our bubbly waitress looked after us very well. We were provided with menus and we had to circle our choices. My husband had the "Day Menu" which was soup followed by a pork escalope with vegetables and I had a giant pancake with houmous. We then had ice cream for dessert. We both very much enjoyed our meals - my pancake was so much more filling than expected - and we would recommend that if you are Vilnius, you should try this quirky eatery.

Located in the first floor of a church previously repurposed by the Soviets, we enjoyed delicious pancakes prepared and served by people with disabilities. It is not “charity” eating at this restaurant; the food was delicious and the service professional. They serve the best kombucha in the Baltic region.

During my stay in the beautiful, magical city of Vilnius, I had the good fortune of stumbling upon this gem of a restaurant.
My husband and I shared our anniversary dinner there, feasting on the most glorious vegan and vegetarian pancakes imaginable. Such impressive flavor combinations. Hummus on a pancake!? Genius!
The decor is very unique and intriguing, unlike any previous dining experience I've ever had.
Every single staff member I interacted with was lovely, kind, helpful, precise and contributed to our enriched experience. So much so, my husband and I returned with our friend later the next week!
I wish I could teleport to Pirmas Blynas nearly every day.
This place is good magic.
Very tasty. And as a vegan, I so appreciate the assortment of options. The night of our anniversary, my husband and I shared a box of decadent, handmade vegan chocolate truffles!
Thank you for being a part of our special day, Pirmas Blynas.
The next time we are in Vilnius, we will return!

There is a daily special on the menu, with a soup - mine was a delicious and spicy veggie soup - and a pancake with stuffing. Very friendly and competent service. The location is also great - an old church is always a special place. There is space for exhibitions around the tables' area; the current one with interesting photos of Camino de Santiago.

It was not the first time that I visited this special place with very welcoming staff. But for my eight friends it was an unexpectedly pleasant place and enjoyable event. We tried all kinds of pancakes and a special surprise dessert with delicious coffee roasted right in the restaurant. The waiters were in a good mood, helpful and so sincerely sociable :-)

We came in looking at the Tripedvisor ratings and so we were a little surprised at the interior. It turned out to be pancake and not simple, but social. Here, people with disabilities, including Down syndrome, work as waiters and assistant cooks. Well, it's humanly right that adapting such people is an extraordinarily difficult task.
