This is a stylish and upmarket restaurant, where the choice and quality of tapas was amazing. Great selection of Spanish wines too. Our server paid great attention to detail without being intrusive and everything was presented very professionally. Particularly enjoyed the Gambas al ajillo and Paella, which is strange as I am not normally a paella fan...we ordered this as my wife fancied it and I really enjoyed it. The melted goats cheese tapas was to die for too. Not cheap, but worth every cent.

Friendly staff, delicious tapas and cocktails. We came in late on Tuesday night but despite that we were nicely greeted by a friendly waiter and enjoyed delicious food. Best recommendations! Must visit!

My family and I had a great time at El Mercado! It is a little gem in the center of the old town. The restaurant is small but very cosy, with sublime design and very comfortable seating. Staff was very professional. We were very happy to find a good tapas place during our vacation. The tapas are not at the same level than back in Spain but they are still very good and small but well portioned for ordering 3-4 per persons. Highly recommend :)

Very bad experience. Waitress was very nice, but that was it. Food tasted dramatically bad, shellfish was served stale. Just a question to the chef, how, how on earth you allow to serve rotten shell fish ??? Then take the dish back, put an extra prawn and send it back to the customers? Paella was very greasy ant tasteless, nothing to compare to Spanish food for such a massive price. Disappointment.
Wouldn’t come back and definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Booked a table for New Years eve.
Arrived on time, knowing it is limited for two hours.
Upon arrival I was informed that our table is available for us only for 1.5 hours, and we were seated on bigger group table where other people can potentially join us.
When ordering, turned out, literally half of the menu is not available. We just left. Not the best experience in New Years eve.

Super cool restaurant! We had the best time. Food was beyond amazing, ambience was very delicate and service was beyond expectations. I mean - Ramūnas is the best. Like for real. Super awesome, will go back again and again and again. And again.

We just popped in for a snack while walking around the old town. A lovely small tapas bar with an excellent range of drinks & excellent food. We had the tiger prawns in garlic butter & iberico ham croquettes, they came with bread which we used to mop up the garlic butter. Really delicious. We were sorry we only needed a snack! Definitely recommend & we would certainly visit again.

Monday afternoon mid February and a city break with friends. Split the city bus tour so we “downed tools” here to wait them joining us. Good wine great gin (albeit expensive compared to a lot of other bars) and a lovely ambience. Staff very friendly and the tapas when our friends joined was well proportioned and excellent. No complaints whatsoever but writing a few days after the visit it was one of the more expensive establishments of the many we finally visited.

The perfect place for meetings with your family or friends having the delicious sea food dinner. Honestly didn’t expect to find the fresh sea food restaurant in Vilnius, but here i come not the first time, because sea food is really fresh, the staff is nice and always offer the best choices of food or local coctails (by the way it’s worthy to try their local coctails). Of course worthy to taste paella - really a great taste 👌
After the main dishes always take churro - the best in town đź‘Ś

It is a first time I'm leaving a review about a restaurant. Why? Well.. obviously, I am more than dissappointed.
1. Main course meals were clearly pre-heated. Made long time ago and then heated. Maybe not even once since it had pretty dry top layer.
2. Main course meals were delivered separately. Meaning I had to wait for mine 10 minutes more than my partner.
3.Table was not clean and sticky.
4.Waitress was not looking very authentic, more like waiting tables with mommy jeans and crop top was totally unexpected in "authentic" spanish restaurant.
5. Snack with Chorizo sausages had exatcly none taste of chorizo.
In a nutshell, when restaurant is marketing itself as authentic spanish food restaurant, people expect authentic high class food and service. Especially, when prices are quite high. At the moment, clients are being charged high price for Taverna like experience. Very very dissappointed. I hope restaurant will improve, otherwise I advise to avoid such tourist scam.
p.s. drinks were good.

El Mercado is one of a kind place in Vilnius.
A Spanish restaurant made in Heaven.
It’s also an amazing hotspot for car photographers like me
With tons of original Spanish dishes, it makes for an amazing breakfasts, lunch and dinner. With my personally favourite dish the Wagyu Beef Burger (only served in weekends), it’s a juicy and delicious meal which is most likely enjoyed by all.
They have a beautiful terrace with amazing decorations. The inside has a long bar, a wine cellar filled with different wines, has a second floor, big and solo tables for different groups and a big shop filled with Spanish delicacies.
The waitress are amazing and nice there, they bring and amazing presentation of food and take care of any needs.
I’ve been here multiple times and i come out always amazed

We enjoyed Cava, tapas, great Spanish wine by glass and chill-out atmosphere in a cozy yard in the Old Town. The service was great. Some tapas were fusion between Spanish/Italian or Spanish/French but very tasteful as well. Reasonably priced.

I heard only good reviews about this place so I was happy to go there when a friend suggested, unfortunately, the visit didn't meet expectations. The food was pretty average (it was not bad, but definitely not a restaurant quality). The service was very rather strange - there were three people coming to our table, the first guy was nice and subtle, then came a girl who was working there for a first day (which is ok, but she was not able to answer even basic questions), and then the third guy appeared (maybe owner?), who, I suspect, was drunk, and acted really unprofessional - made some untasteful and even vulgar jokes, stayed by our table way too long, etc. And the last surprise came together with a bill when we saw the price of cava we drank - it was more than 50 Eur per bottle; this drink somehow was not on the menu so we ordered it only after suggestion, but didn't realize to ask the price (otherwise we would have ordered champagne which was around 60 Eur per bottle).

A recommendation for the newly reopened gastrobar El Mercado! We unexpectedly discovered this wonderful place for brunch.
We left with good emotions and a delicious meal (I highly recommend the pancakes with bananas and the benedict with truffle oil). I have never seen such professional service in Lithuania even in the fanciest fancy restaurant, Mantas is a hidden gem of this place, it is obvious that he knows what he is doing, with a joke and a pinch of theatrical performance.
We'll definitely be back!
