Narrow Stikliu street in the old town of Vilnius began it‘s history in XVth century, when merchants and craftsmen, invited by Lithuanian Grand Dukes, here started their businesses - shops, workshops and taverns. The building, where currently restaurant “Lokys” is situated, was build in the end of XVth century for one of the merchants both for living and trading purposes.Over centuries, gothic cellars changed their owners for couple of times. Here have been shops, taverns and beerhouses, until 1972, when it was restored and hunters’ restaurant “Lokys” housed here.

Really great place in the center of Vilnius. Very nice staff and delicious food. Perfect place for dinner. Traditional Lithuanian food, menu in several different languages, price quite friendly. Highly recommend.

Having seen good trip advisor reviews, we decided to drop by. I can honestly say it was some of the best food we've all had in very many years. Every meal was absolutely delicious. Kids welcome as well too. The venison was so delicious, you...didn't even need to chew it! Would highly recommend. Main meals only cost between £10-15 euros, an absolute bargain. Do go!More

We had a dinner in the yard, as the evening was very nice and not cold. Very interesting menu, with old recipes of XVI and XVII century (we assume it was true). Food, in a scale from one to ten, around seven. So, good but...nothing to split hairs. Best dish, dumplings of fried potatoes filed with venison. Very good local weissbier and friendly service. We got a complete Italian menu, so we can figure it's mainly a touristic restaurant. Competitive prices (we spent 50 euros for three people).More

Lokys is an excellent restaurant to try Lithuanian meat delicacies, of the livestock and game varieties. I had the will boar and it was prepared beautifully with braised pears and a nice, tart berry sauce. The wine list also seemed to be quite suited to...the dishes on the menu. Overall, an excellent experience.More

One of the oldest restaurants in Vilnius. In the menu you will find old recipes and lots of game food. We had game sausages and beef and both were great. Located in the heart of old town with a nice outdoor eating place.

A lovely restaurant that serves something different......game meat. We had only the meat snack platter and 2 different soups. More than enough for us! The snack plate had slices of beaver sausage, venison, boar and pork with seasoned apple. Simple yet most interesting to the...palette. I had the "meat hodgepodge " soup which was literally as its name.....a combination of all different kinds of meat. My daughter had creamy boletus (mushroom) with pumpkin oil. Both very good. Served with dark bread and wheat buns which were complimentary. Great meal. Very reasonable prices! Beautiful ambience too.More

Amazing breakfast! Again! Try omlette with goat cheese and cherry tomatoes! Carrot cake is a nice addon for tea. Crush nuts or smth inside makes a difference.
