Friedrich's arcade is one of the most vivid symbols of Klaipeda. Long and colorful history of the old town and progressive modernism meets here. This unique space represents the lively tradition of the biggest European capitals to transform whole streets into arcades that unite cozy cafes, restaurants, stylish boutiques and guest houses in one place. The arcade opened in 2006 and was named to commemorate a historic personality - King Friedrich Wilhelm III of Prussia who resided in Klaipeda during the Napoleon war. Today Friedrich's arcade is rightfully titled by Klaipeda citizens and city's guests as probably the coziest attraction centre with the most unique aura on the Lithuanian coast. Everybody who comes for a cup of coffee, business lunch or dinner with a company of friends is welcomed here. Once you visit Friedrich's arcade you will feel what it means to stop the moment. And you will want to come back once again with your most honorable guests.

A cozy patio with café, restaurant-stakehouse, pizzeria, tavern and winery. Changes its image with the change of season, always lively and colorful. Don’t miss it if you are in Klaipeda.

Friedrich passage is a street with different restaurants under one roof but with different kitchens. We went for the steakhouse.Although we arrived at 10pm the service was very good and the steak with grilled vegetables was very good. After dinner we went to the opposite wine bar for a nice grappa with chocolates. Also very tasty.

There are a few different restaurants under one "roof" and I think there are some quality differences as well as price differences. I tasted Borsch that was very nice and a salad where the chicken was not really well roasted. But one has to take into account that prices are very reasonable and the service was very friendly.

A cold Oct night in Klaipeda and it appeared that the staff wanted to be in their homes as much as I wanted to be in mine. That said, service was prompt if coldly efficient vice engaging, and the meal was very good. Would happily come again.
