Our restaurant in the heart of the Kaunas, Masalaciti is named after the name comes from the Hindi word for spice. The love for real Indian food has made us cook what we have eaten back home in India. We serve good quality and freshly made food from our kitchen, our dishes are made in a traditional style and our food is mild to medium spicy, medium for us is just enough for you to enjoy the flavours and have a memorable dining experience at our restaurant.

Chanced upon this place as it's hidden away. The menu is not what you would expect from a full Indian with a slightly more limited choice. Wine by the glass only but the white was hot and not very good. Ordered onion pakora to start which was nice and ry not driving in oil. Mrs had a vegan mango curry and I the chicken. Mine was very nice but her mango was hard and not as soft a fruit as it should be though flavour was good

Great food and plenty of it, nice big portions. Nann breads were fab, loads of meat, some nice beers as well. Would of been 5 star but they bought the mains out while we were still eating the starters

The restaurant is kept by indian people. Clean and nice. Authentic fresh and tasty Indian food. . Medium priced. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommend to everyone.

Enjoy a good Indian. This was a South Indian restaurant , GOA, to my knowledge . While we have had our fair share of meals in GOA I was disappointed with this one . I had the chicken balti and my other half,chicken Korma. A nan that was dripping in Garlic and more like a chapati.

OK so was here 7 months or so ago and again the food was very tasty. However they brought the main courses out about 5 minutes after they brought starters so by time we finished starters meals were lukewarm. No hot plates or candle heated trays you get. You can now buy wine by the bottle contrary to my last review. This ti w it was cold so good so far HOWEVER do NOT BUY A BOTTLE!!!! Menu price per glass 4.50 and they charged my FORTY for a bottle pays d'oc chardonnay. Even at 4.50 a glass for 125 would be 27- do the math as Americans would say!! Tried to tell her and wasn't keen but reluctantly gave me 10 back!! Still a rip off, shame as food nice but will NEVER go back

Very good quality food for reasonable price. Butter chicken and naans is amazing here! 1 portion of naan is plenty for one person, which was nice, because usually I find naans to be very small (in most of the Indian restaurants I went).

Popped in for much today - ordered my choices and wanted in anticipation of a much needed flavour explosion.....and that's what I got! Ordered a mango lassi - everyone in the restaurant was having them - so sure stands out as a favourite.
I ordered Tandoori Paneer and butter chicken, along with the most soft and garlicky naan!

Simply amazing, got a feeling of home made Indian food in Latvia!! Although there were a few usual disappointments like getting chana dal in the name of dal makhani etc. (like in most countries with limited Indian food options). But that doesn't take away the quality and taste of the place. Moreover, it was completely fair in pricing. Also they don't serve alcohol.

* It is one of the few places in Kaunas where the waiters speaking English.
* The menu is in Lithuanian and all of the drinks are NON-alcoholic.
