"Siesta" restaurant is located besides the highway Kaunas - Klaipeda, 20 km away from Kaunas, approximately 20 minutes drive from the center. We offer elegant environment and high-quality European cuisine at its best. Locally sourced catfish and beef is recognized by our clients - they often say we serve probably the best sirloin of beef and catfish fillet they have ever had. "Siesta" restaurant is a good choice for families with kids - children playground outside and special kids menu at your service. Parking lot is spacious enough for campers as well as minivans.

The sevice was very nice and top-class, also very fast. We tried the catfish and the slowly cooked pork which both were perfect - delicious and nicely served. Coffee was very good quality too as well as the home made bread which was a complementary snack before our meal. We highly recommend stooping by!

We had an amazing experience eating at the Siesta tonight. The chef spefically created a dish for one member of our family without any gluten, dairy and eggs. The waiter also assured us that almost all the meals can be created gluten free. We also had some gluten free options for dessert. The food here is delicious and the atmosfere is very cozy and nice.

A very cozy place to eat. Pleasant service, before bringing the desserts and coffees, the waiter mentioned, that the apple pie would take about 12 minutes to bake, so he also asked whether to bring everything separately or together.
We ordered vanilla panna cotta, french apple pie and cheesecake.
We are really satisfied with the service and desserts. Will visit them again!

Service was terrible. We come to have a nice time with husband and after first 10s want to go out because of waiter, he was so arrogant and we had to pay for service... Because he added 10% without permission. In the restaurant was cold, food is very medium taste and quality. Like my husband said it is hole with clean floor. Not recommend this place.

Had very nice memories of visiting this place 5 years ago, so decided to stop when passing by. Oh my god - they got even better than they used to be in their early days. I know you just don't expect to find FINE DINING at its best next to the highway, but Siesta is that exception. All dishes we tried were mastered to perfection both in taste and presentation.
Oxtail soup, pork neck, catfish were amazing, but don't miss the desserts: Tarte Tatin and Pistachio Panna Cotta were divine! Will come back!

We had an amazing Mediterranean dinner. The duck was delicious! Cold soup was so tasty as well. Also, I couldn’t resist a desert and it was homemade and quality of products they use is exceptional!
I definitely recommend the place.

You need to up your chef game, Siesta. You used to fo better. Your menu used to be bigger and diverse. Now it’s basically all meat + oven-grilled potatoes and that’s it. The same potatoes that with too many other dishes including cold beetroot soup. It’s boring, it’s uncreative, it’s meh. The chicken from the kids menu has dropped significantly in quality. I used to wait to stop here on the way to or the way back from seaside, just for a good quality food, but sadly it has became average.

I liked the environment and food, was really happy. Located in a good place, easy to reach, nice kids playing grounds, can stay over the night as accommodation available. Good to stay for different occasions

Delicious food, great personnel. Highly recomended. We came hear for a short stop going to Vilnius. They have kids menu, serving quickly, us it is important for families with kids on the road. Food is very good. Thanks the restsurant for the hospitality.

Convenient parking, good service, delicious food. I especially want to note the beef tartare and the dessert. The quality definitely matches the price. I recommend stopping by and enjoying the hospitality!

Siesta has always been our top choice for family celebrations. This time we chose Siesta for our wedding dinner. We were very pleased with how smooth the planning process went. Starting from professional communication to attentive staff and incredible food. Beautiful place to have photos taken as Siesta is surrounded by greenery and is close to the river. Thank you very much for making our day so special!

Visited this Estonia based Restoranas Siesta on the recommendations of friends. The first impression was very pleasant, but when the waitress came to us we were not satisfied with her manners and service, it seemed that she was not happy to see us here and served us as if we had distracted them from something important. But overall, the food was perfectly prepared, so the service needs to be improved.
