I really like this restaurant. The atmosphere is nice. There are several rooms and also they have tables outside on warm weather. I think you can came here with large group, or for family meeting, or for bussiness meeting or just wit a friend for a coffee. The service is excellent, we also got a recommendation for a wine with... More

This is not only a beautiful and intriguing place to eat, the service is very good as well as the food! The cellar rooms are decorated with a medieval theme with lovely murals and swords. The vegetable soup and the duck were excellent as was the house red wine. Definitely would recommend this restaurant when in Kaunas.

Stumble into this restaurant while doing a walk in the old town. Nice decor with the underground cellar. The waiter is friendly and make some good recommendations on the main course and drinks.

Lovely dining area in the cellars with painted wall murals and exposed brickwork. Varied and interesting menu with excellent service - a real treat and glad to have found it!

At lunchtime we had linen tablecloths and napkins and a lit candle and a rose in a vase. The service was excellent. There were bricked walls and ceilings to look like a cellar. Many separate dining rooms. Some mecieval decor like armor and swords and muskets. Iron chandeliers. The food was attractively presented. I had a vegetable puree soup and... More

I can't wait to go back to Kaunas to eat here again! We ate inside at a candlelit table and the waiter was really attentive and polite. The food was phenomenal, really really tasty and well-presented (we had the duck breast and lamb), and very reasonably-priced. Next time I want all three courses!

Lovely vaulted cellar location. Service was absolutely perfect. Food and wine exceptionally good value by British standards. Heartily recommended.

SENIEJI RUSIAI (Old Cellars) - a European standard restaurant established in the 17 century cellars in the heart of Kaunas old town.

The restaurant with the interior in the style of middle ages attracts visitors with their Napoleon's Hall, Noblemen's Hall, and the Hall of Guns. In one of the halls, there is a fresco depicting the Middle French Army crossing the river Nemunas on 24 June 1812 according to the lithography of De C. Montte.

The restaurant offers seats for 100 persons, and is capable of servicing 120 persons during social evenings or buffets.

We can offer European cuisine for gourmands, a large wine collection from the whole world, high class services as well as elegant and sophisticated environment.
