Ranked highly in TripAdvisor, so we have it a try and were not disappointed. The outside seating area is very nice secret garden type area. The food was all tasty and well prepared. We will defend definitely visit again! Overall, very good traditional European food in a great setting!

This was a great little find.It was recommended by the hostel we were staying at and I'm glad they did.It serves traditional Slovakian food that was really good.It had a great feel and would be just as good for a coffee or glass of wine.Helpful staff and a really good vibe.

Great restaurant serving authentic local dishes. We booked having read the trip advisor reviews. Luckily we booked, as the restaurant was full early on a Sunday evening. As a family of 8, we all had different dishes. All clean plates. Good atmosphere. A good place to recommend and fairly easy to find next to st Michaels gate.

We ate here twice. The first time I enjoyed the pork in honey and mustard with roast potatoes, the second with a chilli chicken dish. Both were delicious. The courtyard is a charming, low key, place to eat. Staff are attentive and the prices fair. Slovak beer too.

We was in a trip for a day in Bratislava and after all reviews about this place, we decided to eat here. The Chicken ordered was very tasty and the Zlaty Bazant Tmave beer, was a black beer and the best one I ever drink.

Great little restaurant tucked in the middle of the old town. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food was great, I had the hortobagyi (recommended) and the beef pancake. Will definitely go again!

Prasna Basta may be hard to find and may not look the best from the outside but definitely the best meal we have had in Bratislava by far

This is a lovely little restaurant tucked away in the heart of Bratislava. My son and I ate outside in the garden at the back of the restaurant. We shared the chicken pancake to start and I had the beef potato pancake and my son had a half portion of the pesto penne pasta. The food was delicious and the... More

We stumbled into this cellar restaurant whilst tramping around the old city and enjoyed an excellent lunch, after the prices in Vienna, we found this place remarkably cheap, considering the menu, location and ambience. Good sized portions of well presented local specialities, served by friendly staff. We had to wait a few minutes for a table as the place was... More
