The restaurant is in very good location, aside of Eurovea, so it is great to go there. Mainly because of traditional fantastic Czech bier. But...these days even supermarkets offers more in terms of fantastic beer choices as IPA so Kolkovna is a bid behind the...current market situation. One beer selection made from me mineral water drinker that night:-) But then I decided to please myself with some proper food and go for my most favourite food at teambuildings and that was tartar. But...this was mixed already and mixed not good. Sweet ketchup taste killed it all. Whan a disappointment! And last but not least the waiter was coming to our table every 15 minutes asking if we really need such a big table. I must say that the restaurant was empty. Next time i ` d rather consider some other beer pub.More

Long story short: the price and location don't match the quality of the food at all! We've been there for a Sunday lunch, and it's been a terrible choice. The beer was without gas (funny how this can happen in Bratislava) clearly to be thrown...away. The duck came with extremely old dumplings: these usually costs a few cents, so I've never received old ones in 7 years spent in Bratislava. They're just too cheap to be served old, but in Kolkovna everything's possible. Service was below average and the waiters looked very annoyed when they found out we didn't leave any tip: how can I tip if they fail delivering basic things?? Clearly to avoid. Rather then going back there, I'd prefer starving. They've lost a client by saving on a beer which was supposed to be thrown (a few cents costs to them) and very old dumplings to be thrown (again, few cents). PatheticMore

Underwhelming. Beer was half foam. Food was nothing special bordering bad. And you pay extra for a dry bread.

Good value staple food, with good service, despite missing on our dishes. Good location with kids near the playground

We have waited more than an hour for our order and everybody else who came later was served earlier. The food was below average, also rather small portions.

This particular chain is a chain and you can find similar in Prague and other European countries. It has great space and a nice atmosphere. The portions are gratifying and in excellent quality. From soups we chose it with chicken and beans. Both were palliative...for the cold we had felt a little earlier. For main dishes keep it! Christos chose the “Old Czech KOLKOVNA platter” that was really huge and I (Marianna) “Grilled Chicken” with a chicken that really melted! Our dishes accompanied a salad with a pancake turkey and a scallop. Of course, the menu is also for vegetarians. The person will need about 20 € to eat very well at Kolkovna Eurovea.More

Having lunch here with colleagues, got menu and some specialities. Drinks are ok, service is helpful, place is tidy. We got ribs which were just ok, dry, potato same, seriously or it was old or just dried somewhere and mushroom soup was average. Comparing to...price and location i have expected higher quality.More
