All reviews pork knuckle goulash soup bread kozel beer old town great cellar traditional czech ordered ribs large beer cheap beer outdoor seating slovak food big portions sheep cheese nice place tasty food
Rather quiet and comfortable place with a good choice of Slovak, Czech, Austrian and Hungarian cousin. Traditional Czech and Slovak beer is fantastic! Kind personnel and reasonable prices. We ordered ribs for adults + potato from stove and chicken schnitzel + fries for kid and...enjoyed very tasty dishes. Be careful - servings are rather big. ;) So, dinner for 3 adults and 1 kid + water and 4 beers = 48 EUR. We can recommend this place.More
Stopped here for our first beers in Bratislava and weren’t disappointed. Small vaulted basement bar, good staff, great beers and wines. Ate here on our second day for lunch again beers were good as was the food. A good bar with good music!
Nice restaurant in the very centre of Bratislava. The restaurant is located underground in a very nice old cellar building. Different local foods choice; I ate a very nice pork knuckle, a gulash soup with Kozel beer. Prices are cheap and staff is very nice.
First of all we asked if we can have reservation later and they said they do not do reservations, but when we came back there later, some tables were reserved?
Second of all we ordered and waited for around an hour to get literally the...worst meal of our lives. I asked for golas but apparently, they didn't have it but the table next to us got it after we asked for it.
So we decided to gret chicken wings... Worst decision ever. They were dry, bones inside were chewy and they had no meat at all.
Was looking forward to visit this place and get golaz for fer days and all we got was disappointment.More
