About
Bratislava Burgess Brewery in Drevena Street follows an old tradition of the famous Burgess Brewery, “Die Bürgerliche Brauerei“, called the Burgher by residents. Nice beer was brewed there and the adjacent brewery restaurant was well-known for its domestic cuisine. The new brewery is on three floors and it aims to lure visitors mainly with a special kind of its own beer which it produces in opposition to industrially brewed beer. The Burgess Brewery is equipped with the most modern technology that is currently available for minibreweries. God bless you”, this is how also maltsters greet each other and this greeting is also in the house. “The process of brewing of our beer starts with the selection

I ate here twice and had a great meal both times. The local cuisine I tried included pork schnitzel and chicken with noodles. Both meals were excellent and I really enjoyed them. The cost including beer was very reasonable. I would recommend coming back here...again.More

If you're looking for a place to hang out with friends, have some easy snacks and drink local beers, then this is the right place for you. Although it's basically all the time crowdy, it gives it a special kind of highly positive atmosphere. The...service is nice and the place is quite cool. All recommendations!More

Came here on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation, lots of space inside (most people were eating outside). Had schnitzel with mash potatoes , also you need to try the cabbage with horseradish, really lovely side to have with whatever meat you order. Beers we...had were ones they brew and were good. They guy who served us was so friendly and helpful, if you tip give cash as they cant take tip on card payments.More

Booked in advance on a Friday and probably a good job we did. Seated upstairs near a window and was glad of the breeze. It was very busy and quite noisy but a nice atmosphere. Very attentive staff and helpful. We shared a few appetisers...and a traditional Main each of goulash and sausage/sauerkraut etc Food was excellent and hearty as we expected. The beer was fantastic and is probably the selling point as they brew their own Glad we visitedMore

Grand traditional yet modern brewery restaurant. The beer was delicious, probably my favourite I had in Bratislava. For food I opted for the Halušky which the menu said was Dumplings with Sheep's Cheese and Bacon, it was deliciously warming with cheese adding a tang and...the bacon offering a different texture and saltiness. My other half went for the Schnitzel which she enjoyed and both dishes were very filling.More

We visited here on a Friday night for dinner. We had booked in advance, and our table was ready on arrival. We were promptly served menus, and our drinks order was taken a couple of minutes later. We both ordered the schnitzel with fried potatoes....The food was excellent. Schnitzel was really nice, and the fried potatoes were excellent. The beer was also excellent. Service was spot on from start to finish, and the prices were reasonable for the area. All in all, we would definitely recommend and return.More

We visited the restaurant on the day of the reopening. A local Airbnb owner had recommended it, saying it is his favorite. As we were the first guests to arrive that afternoon, the manager (owner?) personally came over to welcome us and bought us a...drink! The atmosphere and decor were perfect. We enjoyed the beer and wine very much. The food was amazing, we were very happy with the portion sizes, quality and price. This is the kind of place to go and stay for a while sampling different beers and enjoying the food and of course good times with friends. A perfect spot for tourists that want a local experience and place to indulge while taking a break from seeing the sights.More

We visited the restaurant the first day of our arrival to the city. We found it through trip advisor app, and the results were amazing. Very close to the old Town's entrance, is very easy to be found. The food portions were large & delicious....The local flavor dishes, we tried the "Kapustnica soup", were excellent. The staff was hellpfull and smiling. The place was also very clean and tidy. For sure a price - to-quality, choice.More
