Located in a rather dull looking building, this is a nice, cosy restaurant with great views of the city. After a friendly greeting, we ordered the Mackerel with Cucumber, Radish and Dill to start which was excellent. They then forgot about our main courses so we had a little wait but they did apologise and give us a free drink in compensation. The mains (Pad Thai and Stir Fried Beef) finally arrived and were excellent.
The final cost with a tip was €58 or around £53 which is excellent value. Be warned though we only had a couple of small beers because the drinks are very expensive for Slovakia so you may wish (like us) to pre-charge!

We had dinner here and had a lovely evening. The location is super nice, on the top floor floor of a small tower offering a nice view over the city. We visited in winter but summer should be really nice as there is an outdoor terrace as well.
The menu is advertised as Thai but there are quite a few other dishes as well including smaller bar snacks such as guacamole so it’s more a fusion menu. The food was ok, not the best Thai We have have eaten but the quality of the meet was good and the atmosphere was very nice.

The setting is very nice, not just because of the sky bar, bur also because of the nice lounge-style music. The food is Asian-fusion style, quite refined and very tasty. Sadly 2 of the dishes we ordered did not have the fresh coriander they were supposed to contain - at least, we couldn't taste it, but apart from that all was very nice (including the very charming waitress).

Staff very correct and kind, it's a real exception in Bratislava.
Asian tasty food with normal prices but drinks are very expensive, the most expensive ones in the city.
I've been there twice during the winter and both times I had to put on my coat, it is cold inside the restaurant.

When I go to a restaurant for the first time that is aiming to entice you by the information that is on their website, including the menus, I never set my expectations too high. However, the feedback that I received from work colleagues encouraged me to experience the setting that this location provides and to put my faith in culinary details that the menu provided.
I could write a lot about the evenings experience. However, I will try and keep it short and to the point.
From the moment we entered the restaurant until the moment we left my wife and I were provided with a level of service by the staff that felt genuine and kind. Our waiter allowed us both to have a personal experience of his service. All this whilst having an amazing dining experience which included a table that had a great view of Bratislava Castle. The cuisine was very well presented, both visually and verbally by our waiter. Not one of the masterclass dishes disappointed us. The timing between each course allowed us to spend our 3.5 hours consuming them with our wine at a rate that did not impact our conversation flow. As a "talker", this is something which is very important.
We will return. However, we both want the memory of our first visit to remain with us and motivate us to return in the not too distant future.

Fantastic experience. More for the well off! Managed to get access. Due to our winter coats having hoods, we had to leave them on the ground floor at reception and got a coat ticket for them. The lady then told us to go up but didn’t tell us where to go? We found the lift and figured out it was the 7th floor, where we were met by a concierge who took us to our bar seats.
Beautiful views but unless your booked for eating and are seated you can’t really appreciate the views.
The Batman with the tattooed arms is fantastic. At customer service, exposing the cocktail you have ordered and the art of the cocktail making.
45 euro for four cocktails. Not cheap but worth it for the experience!

Inventive cocktail menu. I went off piste and ordered a pisco sour. Delicious. Then a surprise pisco and pineapple shot was delivered by the barman…!
On to food… lovely smoked fish starter with my favourite hassleback potato, and potato dumpling and pulled pork main with plum and nuts, all paired with delicious Slovakian wines…..
It’s a rooftop venue but manages to be cosy and welcoming even in winter months….
You must try it!!

This is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited and deserves far more recognition! The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the drinks were not only excellent but also incredibly unique. The service was truly unmatched—every server was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their craft.
One standout detail was the backstory behind each drink. The staff took the time to explain the menus and offer thoughtful recommendations, making the entire experience feel personal and special.
While many restaurants rely on a stunning view to attract guests, here, the view—though breathtaking—was the least remarkable aspect of the visit. The real stars were the food, drinks, and exceptional service. Kudos to the staff and the owner for creating such a memorable experience. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by the most professional and friendly staff who could not have done more for us.
We visited at around 10pm on a Saturday evening and had not booked in advance, so I wasn’t sure if we would be able to get a table.
The staff found us a great table straight away, with excellent panoramic views of the cathedral and castle.
Alyona, our server, took the time to guide us through the menu and found us cocktails based on our taste. It really was service at its very finest.
Alyona also invited us to sample the panoramic views from the roof terrace once our drinks had been served. The views are superb and in the summer you could spend all night on the terrace, especially when the castle is lit up at night.
Sky Bar is a must visit if you are in Bratislava and I will definitely return if I am ever back in the city.

This place was our spot for dinner and drinks last night during our first night in Bratislava. Wow, what a great experience provided by the Somms, David & Kamil, and the Head Bartender, Michael. The wine list was incredible. Great curation and selection. Pricing is amazing. Michael made us a great cocktail. We had almost every starter on the menu instead of getting a main entree. And that was also a great choice. Kamil explained every dish thoroughly and professionally and did the same with his wine recommendations. We had Croquettes, Jamon, Spanish Olives, Potato Pancakes, Arctic Char Tartare, and a Cheese Plate. All were delicious. Highly recommend this place during your visit.

We booked really short time before we arrived. The waitress was amazing, she told us the story behind the drinks and they were really tasty and exceptional. The best view on the old town in the night does not need any comment, is just breathe taking. We will come back. Soon ;)

Went for cocktails with my sibling here for sunset - lovely tasting drinks but quite expensive considering there is a very big ice cube in each cocktail. Waiter gave us information about the drinks which was nice. Lovely views of castle and UFO tower too.

I always loved going to the Sky Bar. Loved the creative cocktails and the good food. But it seems they changed owners. The cocktails changed to normal ones, still tasting good but nothing special. And the menu changed to be more Slovak, less range of choices, more expensive. We looked forward to the food so in the end, for the first time in my life, we left before ordering, after taking a look at the menu, even though we had a reservation :(

We had a lovely evening here in June, with very nice weather supporting us too.
Our waitress was superb, and so passionate about the excellent cocktails on offer here ( with great artwork to accompany them by the mixologist!).
Food was excellent too.
All in all, a rooftop joy of welcome, cocktails and great menu.

This rooftop restaurant is the perfect spot for some fancy cocktails in the sunshine. I came with a friend and we were able to get a table with an amazing view without booking. The cocktails are expensive but unique - worth the money in my opinion.
