We arrived later in the evening for dinner. We walked easily from our hotel to the restaurant. The restaurant definitely old world - it has a real charm. We had excellent service, and the food was delicious. The salmon was done to perfection and dessert...was really good, too.More

Stopped off on my walk back from the train station as I needed a drink. The bar was quiet, I guess due to Covid 19 but I was welcomed and able to sit almost anywhere. Some menu and a nice pint of lager at a...reasonable price. A large seating area and pleasant staff, well worth the stop off for a quiet relaxing drinkMore

Great food, we all had traditional Slovakian food and we're not disappointed. The portions were large and more importantly very very tasty. Beef cheeks were excellent. Wine and beer cheap enough.

Situated just across the road to the Presidential Palace, this restaurant is very well place. We both had Fish Risotto, which was really very good. Compared to other places in the vicinity, this looked rather posh, and judging by the clientele, only tourists and the...well heeled use here. prices were reasonable, and the service was good. Well worth the visit.More

I was pleased with service & coffee served with water and cake. So far the only place in Bratislava serving seasoned cooked snails.

It's worth visiting for the decor alone but the food and the friendly staff make it even better. We asked for recommendation of local wines which were very good

We had a 1 day visit to Bratislava and on our way to the center of the city we had lunch at this place, the main dish, salad, and sides were all good. Friendly staff did their best to help even answering questions on where...go head in the city.More

This is the first restaurant we ate upon arriving at Bratislava. We ordered the Norwegian salmon grilled on coarse sea salt & was recommended to pick a side to go with - was told that their mash potatoes is delicious. Very delectable! We also tried...the boneless chicken thighs with smoked paprika and cream, served with homemade potato dumplings. This is listed as their House Speciality. The chicken is tender & goes well with the sauce. We love both the dishes as it is a refreshing difference from the other eastern europe meals we had! The prices are also reasonable.More

Our group of 6 ate here last Saturday enticed by the menu containing wild boar and venison goulash amongst other tasty authentic Slovakian dishes. The food was ok and the surroundings are nice but blimey! The staff are miserable, straight out of a Harry Palmer...cold war spy novel. The only thing missing was a KGB overseer. A smile costs nothing but goes a long way.More

This is a different experience to some of the other restaurants in Bratislava. It's more upmarket than most, but not too stuffy. Quieter than some. The service seemed slightly more serious too, but our waitress (Vanessa?) was fantastic. She was helpful with our queries and...explained when we needed help. She advised on our wine choices too.The menu is also different to the other restaurants. The food was exceptional - I'd say this was my favourite meal of the trip. I had cod with saffron and asparagus. It wasn't the cheapest meal we had but worth every penny.More

Overcooked meat, cold dumplings and salat like from Billa. Very disappointing. In addition personal looked like they really don't like to be there.

Visited this restaurant twice as the escargot starter was delicious. We also had the wild boar and venison goulash with potato pancakes which is definitely worth trying. Also worth trying is the home made pasta, The staff were very attentive, friendly and efficient. They also...do a fantastic Irish coffee!More

Pleasant Interior and nice menu serving good food. However this place is let down by its VERY disinterested staff. No greeting on arrival, surly waiter took order and barmaid was more interested in eating her dinner in full view behind the bar. Other female waitress...was just on her mobile phone all the time. Pity as the food was good- management need to act !!!More

The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food was really good (I had the beef cheek😋). They could work with the hospitality but I guess there was bit of a language barrier.

Dining here as part of a group with a preset menu was a very disappointing memory. The staff was unprepared for this group of 50. The set menu was unpleasant and tasteless with a watery turkey/chicken vegetable noodle soup. Wiener schnitzel, was OK served with...cold potato salad. Perhaps another time when not with a group and a opportunity to see other options here, opinion might change. We won’t try it again!More
