We celebrated our civil wedding dinner here with family and friends

It was absolutely lovely place. Amazing ambiance and decoration with taste. Food was delicious and everybody from our guests told this to us. Very attentive waiters and just a cool place ! Also we stayed 2 days after at the hotel for our honeymoon that was nice also. Many thanks to the whole group of siraly and the management and owners, you made our big day special

The staff was very helpful, they always showed the gluten-free foods to my gluten-sensible husband. The foods are very delicious.

Excellent all you can eat menu

All dishes at dinner were special and very tasty, the assortment was wide. The waiters were attentive. Prices are medium, very good value for money. We gladly return any time and definetely recommend.

Truly awful food

I guess the tour guide gets a kick back from this restaurant? He tried to convince us to have the 3 course set menu, but I didn’t like the look of it. Should have followed my ‘gut’ instinct and left, but instead we stayed and ordered a la carte. My lemonade arrived warm, so I asked for ice, which I never got. My entree of crunchy chicken wings was ok, but the dipping sauces weren’t good, And it was served with a mountain of unappetising, soggy coleslaw. My husband’s lamb was dry and tasteless. My ‘baked’ trout was deep fried, and so dry and overcooked. I barely touched it. I checked the menu, and it definitely described the dish as baked. The tour guide said that baked and fried are the same word in Hungarian. The waiter took the plate away without even asking what was wrong. I just ate the cauliflower mash and tomatoes, and left the whole fish. All in all, it was a horrible experience. Bad food and bad service. And expensive!

A place not to be recommended to tourist groups.

We were part of a small 9 pax group. We were told to sit in a particular area. The waiters rushed about, always saying : Yes, I am coming, but actually nobody came. It took a long time taking the order, bringing the food and finally the bill. Very surly staff. We spent over 75 minutes in this place. The food : i had the goulash of lean venison with mushrooms, potato fritters, blueberries and red wine. Very expressive but not reality. The venison had fat on it,the potato fritters were strange round balls; more like crumpled bread rolled in batter and fried. No taste or texture of potatoes. The blueberries and-red wine..........? My wife had grilled vegetables: the server kindly suggested a half portion. She agreed. Totally tasteless food. Finally, the bill. The server refused to give a printed copy as he said we were part-of a group and no tax was paid, hence no printout. By now, we were fed up with the service attitude so we left, after ensuring service charge was included. I think the tour company needs a new restaurant to recommend to its clients.

Absolutely perfect service, very kind staff! They had a wide range, not too expensive, friendly prices. Delicious food. Baby chair, playground.

Looks like this place is kept alive by the tourist boats. Never thought i will find such a big restaurant in such a small location. Luckily we did not benefit of the "daily menu", but ordered some things we wanted. Not big portions but ok to keep you alive till the next destination. Prices are moderate to high for the place.

Beautiful position near the river

My husband and I stayed at the hotel so decided to try the food athe this restaurant as it is conveniently part of the hotel. This restaurant has an indoor section which looks and feels very formal and an outdoor section which is alot more relaxed but serves the same food. We had lamb saddle and the food was alright but it was not memorable and my problem is that it looked unattractive on the plate as there were no different colours popping out at you the food looked boring and without greens didnt pop . The waiters were reasonably attentive and the food was served quickly which was good. So if you just want dinner it is okay but if you want an experience you wont find it her

Should be better, overpriced wines

One of the best location for a restaurant in Visegrad, but not the best of its class at all. Wines are extramely overpriced and the selection is from the bottom shelves. Some meal is fine enough, but other is almost uneatable. Not again.

Marvellous self service table with a lot of help

I was there on a dinner with my friends, the self service dinner was marvellous, the staff was very helpful. We could choose the right meal and after two hours we could pick up some pieces of the dinner. Restaurant Siraly was a very good choice!!
