This restaurant is small and charming, I was alone but I didn't feel lonely. The owner is a kind and acculturated person. The food is excellent.

We were fed up of heavy fried food and this did not disappoint. The mushroom soup was lovely and both our pasta dishes were tasty. Service was good and the atmosphere pleasant.

We went to eat for the reviews and did not disappoint. They have treated us very well, the food dishes, particularly those made with goose liver, the variety of wines they gave us and the treatment are unbeatable. The food well presented, plentiful and with...an excellent flavor mix. We have found ourselves at home and the owner with his explanations has been very helpful. Congratulations for the great work for so many years.More

This is a charming and warming place! We had been there two times and it was fascinating! Very politely and friendly. Meals was delicious! If I come back to Sopron I will visit this restaurant.

It is a small restaurant where the owners cook and serve. I regularly go there with friends because the food is excellent - seasonal. One has to wait but it is worth it. It is a place to not just eat for nourishment, but to...enjoy eating! The portions are not huge but enough, and served to allow the eyes to feast as well.More

We has dinner here recently and everything about it was perfect, the husband and wife team that run it are charming, the food was cooked to perfection, the menu was exceptional and the price was excellent. The husband does front of house and is lovely,...he explained the menu, offered dishes of fresh food that wasn't on the menu - we had the freshly picked mushrooms from the local forest - and offered appropriate local wines for every dish even bringing generous tasting glasses to see if we liked them. This was so good I would consider holidaying in the area again just to go back.More

One of the best places to stay in Sopron in my opinion, warm welcoming friendly, helpful staff, clean spacious rooms, quiet atmosphere and the room actually has everything you need, i must say the room that i have stayed was much better than most of...the 4 star hotels i have booked before all around the world. So i really enjoyed my stay here and i highly recommend anyone who is thinking to book a place here , do it without a doubt!More

On 18 July wife and I made a dinner reservation for 17:00 on 21 July at Vadaszkurt Pension and Restaurant.. We arrived at 18:50, via taxi, in a rainstorm, and found an unattended reception desk. We wandered about the property for five minutes until we...grabbed a waiter, only only to be told they were booked - "We are expecting many people". We quietly left, although, in-retrospect I should have screamed, and walked in the rain to dine in the center of Old Town. NEVER AGAIN...JUST AVOID THEM.More

The Vadaszkurt Eterem is about 20 minute walk from the central downtown area. But it is well worth the trek. The restaurant is in a residential neighborhood. The food was wonderful. It also represented classic Hungarian cooking. There is a cold cherry soup and sorrel...soup that were both amazing. The cucumber and cabbage salads were both very typical. I had the goose liver and lescho which was also great. IMore
