Rendkívül szívélyes vendéglátás, finom házias ételek, finom borok. Kell ennél több? Very pleasant ambiante, excellent service, great food and wine. We enjoyed every minute of it.

I'll be short: I came to taste Hungarian food and especially my favourite, fried goose liver, was really not disappointed. Madame le chef Gyulané cooked a fine well presented and tasty meal. But the host, Gyula, had us/me taste a variety of the best white and red Hungarian wines and they were really really good. A couple of pancakes topped... More

We are visiting Sopron regularly since many years and have had dinner and lunch at many restaurants. This was however our first visit at this family owned and operated restaurant. I would say that this place is one of the top five restaurants in Sopron. We had a nice chat with the owner who has been in charge of the... More

Serving two main courses and a dessert took almost 1.5 hour, and we had to wait another 20 minutes for the bill, while the waiters did not appear at all. The food was not bad (goose liver and catfish goulasch), but nothing extra, far not the best in Sopron. At the end we get 10% off in order to compensate... More

One of my favorite three restaurants in Sopron, part of a small family run hotel Was not busy the night I was there, I finally had to go into the kitchen to announce my presence, but they smiled and responded. Good menu, lots of local dishes, game dishes, complex sauces and gravy. Great pancakes. Owner is expert in local wine,... More

A nice small restaurant run by family. They have a great choice of wild meat dishes and also some local specialities. They have also a wide range of local wines. We tasted some very good wine from Luka Enikô. It is a good value for money.

We arrived early and on a quiet Tuesday evening so had a lot of personal attention by Mr. Bausz, owner and manager of the place, and apparently known as a expert of the better Hungarian wines. We ordered seasonal dishes (recommend the selection of local appetizers!), goose broth, deer steaks with chestnuts on a bed of polenta and entrusted Mr... More
