I came here for a late lunch with my daughter. The service was prompt and very friendly. My daughter had salmon, I chose pikeperch - and we were both very happy with the meal. The price was a bit on the high side - but in this location you also have to pay higher rent and therefore have higher expenses, so it's all fine. And the beautiful view of Lake Balaton should be worth it.

Very nice food. You can choose from tipical Balaton food like hekk or lángos or hamburgers but you find also very nice italian pastas or main courses with meets.
We were here for 3 days, eat here breakfast and lunch every day.
Breakfasts were also very nice and big portions. The view is amazing, the owner of the restaurant planted flowers everywhere so it is also very nice and beautiful.
They have one apartment also next to the restaurant, it is very modern and with the full glass wall there is a beautiful view also to the lake.
In front of the restaurant the beach is free.

the food was below avarage and the waiters are just rude. They mixed up our foods and refused to change it! The music and vibe of the place is nice but thats it. Try to avoid this place, because there are much nicer places around here.

Really good food, lots of choices. I really like the scenery right by the waterfront. Servide is also good. It is very expensive, but you are by the water in a sit down place.

The waiting staff speaks perfect English, very friendly and help you with the menu if you need.
Great view and amazing food with cocktails!

It was a great beginning because the view was beautiful BUT we had to wait too much for our order. Other guests have earlier got their food… the pasta was too salty and the waiter was way too rude.

We always eat here if we are nearby. Do not miss this place, the view is amazing, the staff is very kind and helpful.
They have nice burgers and fantastic desserts.
The hake is the best here.

Friendly place in front of the Balaton! Fast service, good food and drinks! What else? Sergio's music! During the sunset, Sergio was singing best italian songs to make the atmosphere warmer. Looking forward to go back...

Great food, great atmosphere, amazing view.
We were there on a wedding, the service and the food was amazing, everything arrived at the same time for almost 100 ppl.
They have an apartment for rent at the beach as well.
I recommend to everyone!

We do not understand the high rating this place enjoys. Probably we had just bad timing, it was a national holiday, so the place at lunch time was extremely crowded. My husband’s burger was average with a defrosted patty. In the evening that followed my husband struggled with an upset stomach. My order (cordon bleu) was freshly fried, however they forgot to announce us that it was ready- a bit of a chaos. On top of this the quality are not up to the price.

We have an apartment nearby and are regular guests. MobyDick offers two kinds of food, typical Balaton like fast food and a regular restaurant assortment. Tested both several times and they are good quality with a lake view that would sell anything anyway. Friendly staff with an almost always present and working owner.

We arrived a bit late, but despite of being close to closing time the staff was extremely kind. We had a great table on the terrace, really close to the lake. As it was night, the staff opened the sun-blind above us, so we could see the stars above us. Fantastic experience. I ate the delicious Mody-Dick burger, could recommend to anyone.

It's a cool place in a beautiful setting. It feels like having a dinner by the sea and the sunset is spectacular from here.
The staff is friendly. The food is excellent. They have a good selection of food and they are ready flexible in preparing special requests. This year they have a chef from England who is a steak specialist.
My kids enjoyed the playground a lot with the slides , swings , sand and toys. Since we learned about this place we keep coming back also because it is really challenging to find good places around the lake. And this is good Indeed.
