Located right on the river Raba , a lovely small restaurant that accepts guest only after prior reservation.
We ate the traditional Hungarian fish soup - halászlé - fully meeting all our expectations. It is like home made food.
Friendly service, quiet environment and excellent food.
Do not miss it when at Sárvár.

Really enjoyed the meal, which was a little gem. The restaurant has very family-like interior, nice view to river and fine wine. Though we ate mosty fish that is their speciality, I really enjoyed ther lamb too. Highly recommend! Robert + Iveta :-)

Any time we travel to Sarvar, we never forget to make a reservation here. Great meals, nice restaurant and pleasant service. Especially recommend their fish soup that can be (and shloud be) spiced with chilli. The nice thing is that the spicy chilli paste is your choice, but I liked it very much. Also great selection of white wines.

The restaurant is unorganized, like the menu, they serve pasta instead of cottage cheese sliders, whipped cream instead of sour cream and ground breadcrumbs are unfortunately tasteless on top of the soggy batter. The server's style is instructive and playful.
I don't recommend it.

We were here by accident as we going around… It was really great experiences. I had the best Halaszle (fish soup) ever. Is hard to describe how it was delicious. Main dish we had fried carp with mashed potato. It was also excellent. Food is served in nice design. It looks like art.
On the top we were appreciate of professional services. I recommend visit and enjoy Paduc restaurant great experiences.

Extraordinary food at a beatiful place with family style workers.
The place is just near by the Rába.
You get welcome dring made from herbs, and the serving of main dishes is brilliant.

We came here the very first evening of our stay at Sarvar, based on Tripadvisor reviews. The place was nice, catfish soup and catfish "porkolt" were just fine. We missed a bit more traditional Hungarian meals. The owner was serving us; she is a young lady with very friendly attitude and lot of knowledge about the food she served. And riessling wine was also good, compared to other white wines we drank until now in Hungary. The place is a bit more expensive, so not for every evening, but once worth visiting.

This restaurant is a true hidden gem! We were driving though Sarvar, Hungary and had almost given up when we crossed the Raba river and saw a cute quaint restaurant sitting on the river’s bank. I made a quick sharp turn into their dirt driveway. We entered with no expectations at all. A kind nicely dressed waitress sat us at a table with river view. The menus she brought were the first clue of excellence. She explained that all the ingredients are locally sourced. My wife had a luxurious summer salad. I had a small bowl of their halaszle, fish soup and then grilled trout. We preordered the aludtey prosza. We were completely awed by the incredible tastes the chef created with very basic ingredients. Every dish is freshly prepared. I think the fish soup, halaszle, was the best I’ve ever had. The trout was perfect. The salad was filled summery delights and infused with a pumpkin seed oil dressing. The prosza alone makes you desire a return visit. The slightly higher price was totally deserved.
We later discovered the restaurant is owned and run by the talented chef and his wife, the beautiful waitress. This should be a Michelin recognized restaurant.
