On top of the great interior, atmosphere and culinary experience the hospitality of the owner and staff is amazing. We re-visited the place and so glad that we did. The mindset and dedication of the owner to roll this little gem is made our visit even more extraordinary. Thank you for that.

Friends recommended the Eleven wine bar, so we should definitely visit it if we can on a concert day, because the garden has a special microclimate. They were absolutely right, as we enter the wine bar garden, on the left there is this huge 400 year old olive tree, our chin has fallen down so beautifully. When we were at a jazz concert there was, as it turned out the garden is a traditional place in Pécs, called Hild Garden. It's worth booking a table because especially on concert days there are so many people, we were lucky we got a table, as it turned out almost all of them were already taken. Before the jazz concert we quickly ordered champagne and a tapas platter, and then the evening began. We became so friendly with the sommelier that after the champagne he made us a separate wine list, and we started with white wines, then rosé, and finally we finished with red wine. (As it turned out, we had a New Zealand wine tasting a week ago, so we were able to order from that list too! If you haven't tasted Kono savignon blanc white yet, make sure you do!) Once we got the next batch quite slowly, but I guess because of the concert the workload was huge, but otherwise we always got immediate help with everything! The somellier told us about all the wines, so everyone really enjoyed the evening! If you want to drink good wines, then definitely Eleven!

Eleven turned out to be even better than promised! The food was absolutely amazing and a pleasant change from the monotonous menus of so many places. Our lovely waitress was so friendly, helpful and incredibly well informed about the wines and food pairings. The wine selection is both eclectic and full and the courtyard setting is delightful. I loved the fact that Wine is the star of the show and the fabulous food is designed to compliment the wine. Brilliant! Absolutely wonderful all round! We will certainly return. Thank you!

Great for a crowning glory.

We were there the last night after our ten-day trip and it was a great conclusion. When it is warm, you should sit outside, because you can either watch and enjoy the city life in the front or enjoy the wine and tapas in the back comfortably with fairy lights and peace. We tasted the white wines and the 2. Wine from the wine with orange. Everything tasted great and was once a taste experience. In the beginning we thought that the tapas plate and the three extra tapas were too few, but they were absolutely sufficient if you had lunch before and don’t want to replace it as the main meal 😉. We met a big band from Norway who were passing through, which definitely sweetened the evening ☺️. All in all really recommended.

Small place, great experience. Expert wide selection from local, full Hungarian and even import wines and champagnes. Nicely matching bites, ham and cheese assortment with high level service. Nice time to spend in city center.

A perfect place for wine lovers

Everything was perfect! High quality wines throughout the night and perfect tapas for our hunger. The staff was super nice and the kitchen was very fast. We will come here when we are in Pécs.

Vega friendly wine bar

Vega friendly restaurant with fantastic wines! Baked camembert cheese, good warm bread with olive oil was fantastic, a special pleasure for me to have several options to choose from! A good sauvignon blanc and space, very nice atmosphere in the wine bar.

The best wine bar I have been to recently! I never dreamed I would taste "red champagne" and it is delicious!!! The wine list seems to have been put together by a sommelier, I love the sauvignon blanc from New Zealand, the Australian shiraz is amazing, but the fireworks is the Freakshow Cabernet Sauvignon! Spanish hams, tapas, cheese, olives, I can only recommend! The best wine bar in Pecs, that's for sure!

The best option for drinking good wine with good food in Pécs! You can taste a hungarian cirfandli, kadarka or olaszrizling as well as a spanish cava or a carmenere from Chile... Reservation highly recommended.
