Dear Flyer569260, thank you very much for the review, please come back soon! Best regards, Eleven Team
Small place, great experience. Expert wide selection from local, full Hungarian and even import wines and champagnes. Nicely matching bites, ham and cheese assortment with high level service. Nice time to spend in city center.
The best option for drinking good wine with good food in Pécs! You can taste a hungarian cirfandli, kadarka or olaszrizling as well as a spanish cava or a carmenere from Chile... Reservation highly recommended.
Great service, great dishes, although too small even for a winery. Probably one of the few good places to spend a Friday night in Pécs.
Dear 450amirv! Thank you very much, we hope that you will visit us again! Eleven team
We had a rough start, could not get a table outside, the waiter did not hear our questions but finally we picked couplw of options - eggplant creme, calamari, olives, season specialty of melon - cantelope combo and creme catalan. Everything was excellent, great ingredients,...will definitely return.More
On top of the great interior, atmosphere and culinary experience the hospitality of the owner and staff is amazing. We re-visited the place and so glad that we did. The mindset and dedication of the owner to roll this little gem is made our visit...even more extraordinary. Thank you for that.More
Nice food and good wines but the service is disappointing. The staff was rude, the servive was terribly slow and finally we were over-charged... I don't recommend this place especially at peak time since the staff is unable to manage the tables.
Place is not reccomended, as after rude service they charged a lot more for our dinner. There are much better restaurants nearby!
By far the best place around to discover hidden treasures from Hungarian vineyards and also from all around the globe, presented by a lovely, wine-obsessed crew. Thank you for all the exceptional bottles throughout the years!
Must-Try Tapas and Wine Simply perfect! Food, service, atmosphere excellent! Ate here many times and going again!
During a recent visit to Pecs I came across Eleven Bor (Wine) & Tapas bar located in a small square. It offers a small but delicious selection of hot and cold Tapas dishes complemented by an excellent selection of Hungarian wines available either by the...glass or by the bottle. What adds to the great food and wine experience is the fantastic welcome and customer service - friendly, and really knowledgeable about the food and wine origins. If you like great wine, this is a MUST visit place with a great atmosphere.More
Great food combined with great service - not only friendly but also highly professional, the owner knows everything about the wines he sells and he is very happy to share his passion with the guests. Small and cosy, not much of the choice but everything...we tried was really good. Nice place to visit with friends, to chill a bit by a glass of good wine.More
The restaurant was very trendy and cosy, something that always attracts me. The service was so and so, the waiter was friendly but didn't seem to love his job very much. Something I could forgive him, given the very hot temperatures today. But then the...tapas. This restaurant does not serve tapas, they serve some appetizers with wine and you'll probably walk out there still craving something that really fills your tummy. There's not much choice: cold platters with ham, cheese and olives or warm 'tapas' from the counter. On the counter is a really small fridge, where you can choose from tree different things. Our choice of the day was a beef stew, ratatouille and tortilla. Unfortunately we already ate some ham and cheese in another café a little earlier, so this left us not much choice. My boyfriend couldn't resist to go for a second plate of ham and cheese, but I went for the beef stew and ratatouille. The quality was ok, though the ratatouille wasn't properly heated and the beef stew (although very tender cooked meat) had really undercooked carrots in them. In any case, this is not my idea of 'tapas'. The cold plate was of really good quality, no remarks there. We topped it off with some crême brulée, since we still had some room in our tummies. Mine was a little too 'brulée', but it didn't bother me really. All in all, a good desert. The wine was perfect. I drank two different red ones and they were both very enjoyable. Local as well, which I also appreciated. One last complaint though: they poured my second wine in the same glass. The final straw that broke the camel's back, at least for me. I'm not convinced. Given the high ratings it had on TripAdvisor, I expected a little more.More
Excellent warm, clean, modern atmosphere with wonderful tapas. We could have stayed there all night. Beautiful wines and a welcoming atmosphere after touring this gem of a city. It was raining when we were there but I with we could have hung out on the...patio and absorbed the cool vibe of Jokai Ter. Richard Labancz, the sommelier at Eleven is supremely talented and knowledgeable. Not only was he incredibly friendly and welcoming but gave us excellent travel recommendations and vineyards to visit throughout Hungary. He also hooked us up with a private B&B in Sarajevo, Kife Mahala. Eleven is a Must Visit! We will be back!More
Very friendly people and nice ambiance. Unfortunately we had no reservation but a table was created! Tasted several great local wines with some high quality meat/cheese platters. Great experience, thanks!
