Very nice bistro with good food and polite, professional staff. Nice wines. Terrace is a bit noisy but still fairly pleasant.

Excellent food, make sure to make a reservation

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we were not disappointed! The food is amazing, we were a group of four who all ordered different dishes and wine pairings, and every dish was excellent. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and portion size is good. The only thing I would recommend is make sure to make a reservation because when we went, half the tables were empty but they all had reserved signs on them and it took quite some convincing to let us in without a reservation despite so many empty tables.

Nice staff, good food

We just stopped in Miskolc for lunch and this restaurant was offered to us. I had a house made mushroom pasta, my little niece had a fish and chips, both were excellent. She also asked for a chocolate cake, she tasted and ate only a bit of it, because there was caramel in it what she did not like. First the waiter offered to change it for something else, then finally it was free of charge. I was surprised with this kind gesture. Nice staff, good food, we will return once for a real meal.

Today we wanted to have lunch, we arrived at 11:15 and did not let us sit down because the restaurant will only open in 15 minutes. Where did their famous hospitality go? There is a huge deterioration in the quality of service. Has the quality of the food become like the service?

We had a very nice dinner at the restaurant which was recommended by the hotel. The menu includes seasonal and also traditional dishes made from fresh, local ingredients. Every dishes were excellent and perfectly cooked. The service was very friendly and professional, our waiter helped us to choose the food and offered very nice wine pairings. Next time when we will be in Miskolc, we will return for sure for a meal.

Best food and service in Miskolc

Absolutely amazing food, coupled with professional, kind service. Dishes are special to the region and have a rich, home-made taste. Waiters were polite and did their best to make us feel welcome. They were also really friendly with our kids. All in all, this is the best restaurant we have tried in the region, highly recommended.

Turn you away if you are on your own

Came here tonight to try as I’m a regular visitor to Miskolc on Business, also I have a holiday home in Lilafured, thought I would give this place a try , and I was greeted by the waiter and I asked to be seated as well was on my own to be told no they can’t help me , the place was pretty empty and there was an abundance of tables , He then told me that I could get a table on my own in Pizza Terrace up the road. Very disappointing if you are a loan traveler don’t bother. Won’t be back

Great restaurant with excellent wine selection

We had dinner at Vegallomas with my boyfriend and dog outside on the terrace. The service was excellent, really attentive. The food was delicious too, with excellent wine selection. Make sure you save enough space for the dessert - they’re excellent

Please order the daily menu - good quality for a good price

Good food in a cosy atmosphere. Kind and gentle servants. We have been here 3 times already, in weekdays. We have ordered the daily menu - what a good option! Unfortunately not available in English but the waiter was so kind to translate. We will definitely come here again.

Great little restaurant

We recently stayed in Miskolc whilst visiting family and friends. We ate here twice as we found the food and deserts to die for. Great service and very reasonably priced. A must visit restaurant if your in the area.

90 mins waiting for flat food

Ordered two appetizers and a main dish and had to wait for an hour to get it. Then another 20 mins to get two desserts which is altogether almost 90 mins waiting for a food which was even flat and would not say was special at all. Music was not appropriate either (Republic, Fiesta). Very disappointed.

Once again, great food, great service. This restaurant has never failed to deliver on high quality, interesting food. Served by knowledgeable, helpful & friendly staff. I’m pleased to say I’ve been coming here for over 7 years & I only regret not being able to live closer so I could eat here more often. This is an honest review, I’m not a relative of the owner etc. Try this place, it’s worth it

Arrogant service

This restaurant exercises face control, if they do not like you because of your ethnic background, casual dress or because you want to dine with your children, waiters are instructed to drive you out as soon as they can by arrogant and humiliating behavior. It is best to avoid this horrible place unless you arrive by an SUV and dress as if you have just broken the bank.
