Regional bistro cuisine, prepared using only local ingredients, modern kitchen technology, international and classic bistro dishes, heart, and soul. From 2016 -in the "Top 100 Restaurants "of Hungary! The best winelist in the town, wine-degustation can available...
This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we were not disappointed! The food is amazing, we were a group of four who all ordered different dishes and wine pairings, and every dish was excellent. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and portion size is good. The...only thing I would recommend is make sure to make a reservation because when we went, half the tables were empty but they all had reserved signs on them and it took quite some convincing to let us in without a reservation despite so many empty tables.More
Nice location, friendly waiter, but some ingredients of the food & drink not fresh (e.g. oil in the beetroot’s soup)More

We appreciate your evaluation which is very important to us.
In our restaurant our dishes are made only from fresh, domestic ingredients - currently in Hungary, for example. Beetroot is available freshly. The olive oil that comes from Spain (Artajo) is not white...More
Well worth a visit.
I had the Boar Rogout Soup and it was delicious, it had a flavour I couldn't put my finger on but I was left wanted more and very nearly ordered a second bowl. I followed it up with the Bacon Wrapped...Tenderloin which was equally tasty, the homemade dumplings were a first for me and went very well with the mushroom sauce. My wife had the pig cheek which was in a lovely rich gravy.
Desert was my second experience of Floating Islands and definitely the best. The first time I had it it was served with multiple little teardrop shaped islands & you could probably argue that it won on presentation but today's blew it out of the water for flavour.
This was the last night of our Hungarian road trip and we really finished on a high note.More
A leges legfinomabb szüketésnali ebedet fogyasztottuk el a mai napin Édesanyammal a Végállomás Bisztróban. Főételnek sült pisztrángot, grillezett zöldséggel, vmint sült kacsacombot, tört krumplival és fött lila káposztával fohyasztottunk. Desszertnek Varga bèlest és mandulakrémes tortát választottunk. Isteni finomat ettünk hangulatos környezetben és udvarias, figyelmes...felszolgálókkal. Köszönjük szèpen es legközelebb karacsonykor talakozunk:-))))
I was celebrating my Birthday with Mum and I booked a table for two people. I had a wonderful time and the food was delicious as usual. I can only highly recommend the Vègállomás Bisztró. The staff members are very friendly and professional.More
We had an excellent meal, nicely served. The suffran shrimp soup was one if the best dishes i have tasted. The rest of the meal was excellent, meat done to perfection, beautiful plates and excellent additions. Desert (chocolate and pear cake - was also excellent....Sit inside, its much pleasanter.More
Recommended by friends. We turned up late-ish (around 14:30hrs) for lunch without a reservation - no problem. Staff was friendly and professional without being intrusive. We both had soup to start with and the Mushroom soup as well as the Celery soup were delicious! The...accompanying home-made bread was very good too. The main-course portion were not too big, so we had some room left for a shared dessert which was a tasty Praline. Although the location is a bit out-of-the-way it is well worth the effort of going there for treating your taste-buds! Highly recommend!More
We arrived ad hoc, without reservation but fortunately still had a table for two. Ordered soups and main dishes too along with the wines printed in the menu for all dishes as recommendations. Soups were nice, the second courses as well, atmosphete was excellent, with...warm feeling from the burning logs in the fireplace. The only issue was that we had to wait too long for our lunch.More
