Good food at a reasonable price. I went for the pike-perch fillet with cauliflower risotto, which was excellent. The kitchen is open till 9, which is good to know (although I arrived there around 7.15). The previous night (Tuesday 30.05.23) I went out to eat...at 8.15, and everywhere else had closed at 8 or earlier. We came here for a coffee and stayed for a lunch. Atmosphere amd service were nice. They brought also water for the dog. We had burgers that were tasty.

Waiter spot on, no problems and really looked after us. 2/7 meals OK but the rest rubbish. Overpriced for the area - some great restaurants along Balaton so give this a miss. Burgers frozen and overcooked, steaks thin and flavourless. Not one to recommend.More

There is a good choice of foods, the prices are OK and the meals we enjoyed were satisfying. The service was very good, the staff accomodating. All in all, a very good experience.

Be aware that they put tip on the bill directly. We did not notice and left the tip twice. It is not about the money, but the attitude (!!). I'd never come back, because I feel robbed. Sad, that this extra 10% ruined the experience.More

Very nice place, food was excellent, large dishes. Very big variety of food, and everything was good. The service is good, English speaking and very polite. Prices are more than fare.

This review is difficult to me. Johns Pub looks nice, promising. So, we decided to have lunch there, but left disappointed. Design and ambiente: modern, nice. No problem with that Food: we had burgers, which were average. Not bad at all, but also nothing extra...special. But the chicken in cheese sauce was tasty. The problem: the staff. Maybe, we offended the staff by sitting directly to a not cleaned table, or it was due to the language barrier, but we experienced such ignorance. The full-beard guy was nice, but his colleagues were terrible. They left us waiting for ordering and cleaning the table for quiet long time. They even didn’t allowed us to sit inside, when it started to rain and our table on the terrace was not covered, without even saying sorry, just acting, like we were disturbing them. Most of the stuff works not effectively, running on the place there and back, but leaving guests without ordering, not taking used dishes by going back, etc. Here I really say sorry to the nice guy, but girls destroyed our stay. For us, never again.More

A sült krumpli szottyadt volt. A felszolgálással nem volt gond. This place promised more than it gave. There was no pizza at all. The prawn pasta was overcooked. The salad accompanying the goat cheese was dry. The cheddar burger contained one big piece of breaded cheese. The fries weren't fresh. Service was ok.More

Where to start….? First of all: the most ARROGANT waiter (the baldheaded stressed out man) I ever met in my life (and yes I have travelled a lot!). Not only to us but towards his colleagues as well. That’s a NO NO!! As part of...the menu is in Hungarian our request to translatie a few words was returned with a huge sigh. I almost forgot to mention the music: a non-stop DJ mix of techno music which caused me a flashback to the 90’s when I used to frequent techno clubs. But while people are having dinner: think twice… Regarding the food: how dare you call this a ‘Caesar salad’? A magnifiying glass would have been handy for the search for chicken. Yes the pizza is well done but when asking for ham and receiving minced meat…? And ordering two glasses of wine and a full bottle is served? Anyhow: do yourself a favour and avoid this place.More

Delicious home burger however the meat was not enough hot. Drinks are great. Chicken as we like also tasty.

A pretty nice place with great open air bbq. We loved it. Very nice burgers and pulled pork, nice stuff and nice garden.

We came here because the review was good. The food was very good. We had steaks. Service pleasant and fast. Overall impression excellent. I recommend.
