lazy and non English speaking waiters, you can pay by card only inside what I don't understand once they have wifi terminal. Food was not so special, just average. Restaurant located near busy road.

Huge disappointment after years of eating some superb meals here yesterday four or of six meals were unacceptably bad. After an hour wait for our food three of the meals came with cold potatoes, one with badly burnt pork filet, four with awfully tasteless sauces...on them. The waiter was cold and very unfriendly. The restaurant doesn't serve small/kids portions and whilst other restaurants are totally flexible and keen to do anything for the guest with a smile, the Jobarat has become a second rate place and we will never eat there again.More
Charming eatery with outside seating, busy place so if you are more than two call and book ahead maybe
Seriously, how can you screw up a Hungarian duck liver like that?? It was salty, too much cheap spices, tasted oil that has been used already for other foods... 4990 huf for 2 very small pieces. You can find duck in 4 star hotels' menu...for 3990 huf or duck liver as starter for 2990 huf (same quantity) and you get real quality for that price.More
A very busy professional place, fast service, reliable quality food, set lunch option every day, highly recommended.
It is very rarely, that we are so pleased with the restaurant, that we eat there 2 weeks every evening. Jobarat vendeglö was close by, only 400 m from our apartment and from the very first evening we knew, that this is our place. Genuine...hungarian food, no fine fine, but good local food. Friendly and welcoming service and they accepted my wish to use my few words of hungarian to order. I knew it had been much easier in german or in english, but I love to try to learn a few words of local language where ever I am. During the 2 weeks no dish was a dissappointment, some similarities of course, but no need to order the same dish twice. Our journey goes further, but Jobarat Vendeglö is absolutely our must, when we come here again. Thank you so much!More
The restaurant serves very good food, but the service is bad, waiters are not friendly and don’t speak English. Prices are also affordable. Highly recommend the fish platter
We visited this restaurant in August because of the very good recommendations around 8,30pm and the staff informed as the kitchen closed already and recommended as another restaurant even though the restaurant open until 10 pm. Such a shame to have no chance to eat...a hungarian meal.....More
I was looking for a place to eat something a bit healthier than the average typical Hungarian restaurant. That means: not too greasy, not fried and fresh ingredients. With this in mind, I was lucky to find this place and some better food alternatives. It...did took some time to get the food, but I had a good time in the meantime talking to my partner. I did, unfortunately see a situation as I read from other reviewers where a family was denied service at 9pm when the restaurant closes at 10pm. I think this can be disappointed. Actually I was already hesitant to go at around 8:20 due to the reviews. If you're closing your kitchen earlier or the service altogether then I'd suggest to make it clear in your restaurant/webpage/google,etc. Otherwise, the servers where helpful and kind.More
Due to the fact that the restaurant is next to the main road, it is a bit noisy. The food is ok, but nothing special just average. The service is pretty slow. We spent almost two hours here at lunch.
This is a really nice place with good service and kind people. We were there two times to have lunch. Both times the food was pretty delicious and we were totally satisfied. If you are looking for a decent place to eat with a fantastic...price-quality ratio then this is a perfect choice.More
The food was OK. For the price I wouldn't recommend eating here. It's a nice big menu... just not really that great. If you pay by card they make you walk to the bar to do it yourself with a card terminal that is wireless......that's just lazy service.More
We had an early dinner, the place was full, but we were sitted within 15 minutes. we had soup (Garlic and Goulash) which were very good, the beef tendrilion was great so was the chicken breast. The toilets were reasonably clean. We paid in Euro...and got change in Euro, they accept credit cards as well. The staff are efficient but rather grumpy. Some of the speak English Bottom line: Great food, nice place. There might be a language barrier to over comeMore
We were there for a Valentines day trip and liked it very much. We took a meal for two and ate it all. Different kinds of meat, vegetables, rice, potato, dips and cola. Everything very tasty and we only payed 15€. Same meal would cost...up to 50€ in my home country.More
Kitchen was closed. We arrived at 8:30 and the times say open till 10pm. First young waiter was rude just said No!, knew we were English speaking and could give a dam didn't bother to get another waiter to talk to us, second waiter who...could speak English saw the interaction and told us no service as kitchen was closed. We only went there on TripAdvisors recommendation. Thought others should know about the earlier than advertised closing times. I can't comment on the food as they didn't give me any. This is just about the service. We are very polite people.More
