we visited the place with a groupp of four as we saw its high ranking. Well, we ordered several different food, linek pumpkin soup, duck liver etc, and none of us were fully satiesfied, the disches were ok, but we couldn't feel that "kick" of taste we expected from a restaurant evaluated on this high level. Big plus: the service,... More

First time we went for dinner, we returned for lunch. Me, wife and our 1 year old son. We were seated on a garden/glade on top of the hill with amazing view. The atmosphere was excellent and we were looking for a fine meal. Soon it started to be little cold and we were given blankets. Sadly also mosquitos came... More

I went here with my husband on November 11th 2016. Both the service and food were excellent! We had goose liver, goose breast, goose legs, potato and cabbage, two sorts of palinka, a glass of wine, a pint of beer and two sorts of palacinta. We had a relaxing evening full of great food.

Honestly, we were a little bit disappointed. The restaurant is nice, it has amazing view , very romantic but the food was not as good as we expected based on the reviews. They had good wine, very interesting cuvee but as they are named as "cellar" , I would expect wider choices. What was for me unpleasant was the staff.... More

We visited this restaurant with high hopes/according to Tripadvisor reviews we should be amazed/. Unfortunately this was really just an average restaurant, one of the tourist traps like everywhere else. It's located in the vineyard part of the town with restaurants and wineries side by side. It's quite crowded here. The service was good, we were not "wealthy" German/or Russian/... More

We spent a very enjoyable evening at this restaurant. The scenery is beautiful. Robert, our waiter, was very funny and very helpful with choosing very typical dishes. The food was good however I did not like the poppy seed and strawberry dessert. The Hungarian white wine was very sweet and not recommended. **Please note that you cannot drink and drive... More

Amazing view, friendly waiters speaking more languages, good beer, tasty food. What more do you need? And it's not a bad idea to make a reservation because it's a busy place.

This was our last meal of our Hungary holiday. The setting, inside and out was brilliant - a sense of Hungarian countryside but within walking distance of the centre of Heviz. All 5 of us really enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent. I had the deer ragout - meat was tender, sauce rich and the peach and cranberry... More
