We were looking for a good quality Hungarian restaurant and I think this restaurant did the job. The prices were great if you compare it with other restaurants in downtown area and this one is not far from there at all. :-) The waiter was very nice but he didn't know English, just basic words, which was ok. We showed... More

Right in downtown Heviz, saw some decent reviews, thought we try it. Outdoor covered patio, was very warm that day, no fans. Just a few tables, but only one server, thinking he might have been the owner/manager? Cute patio, good size menu with many choices. Took some time to get a menu, and again to get drinks ordered. interesting thing... More

A standard restaurant on the main street in the centre. Dined there once. Do not get a shock from the weird ("traditional"?) statues when you enter. Food and price were OK, they even had menu in Czech. But other Heviz restaurants had better food for the same price...

We were looking for another restaurant in Heviz but could not find it so decided to try Muscatli. We were the only customers in the restaurant so received very good service. We were a group on three and all of us had garlic soup for starters, which was an excellent choice. The food in the restaurant was very good and... More

After a long search for a restaurant we were so exhausted that decided to eat in the first one which was Muskatli Etterem. We were the only guests and usually it is not a good sign but we decided to give it a try anyway. The interior was very simple and outdated but we didn't care much. The waiter didn't speak... More

We were surprised visited this small restaurant. Food is really good, not salty, very tasty vine. The only minus - they have for desert only pancakes.

When I walked in around 6pm, no other guest were in the restaurant. I asked the waiter for recommendations, and he came up with a few suggestions. The waiter was extremely friendly and serviceminded. I ordered deer filet with some game sauce but the menu card had that dish with croquettes, of which they were out of, so I was... More

It was a warm September evening and so the 4 of us decided to eat on the patio with a view of the street. We ordered 4 drinks and the evening got off to a rough start when the 2 half liter beers were flat and didn't taste good. The waiter immediately removed them and replaced them with 2 bottles... Great little restaurant located just outside the main pedestrian area, well worth a visit and open until 10PM with allother hotel and restaurants closed for dinner by 9PM! The service was great, the owner/ waiter was interested in serving you and really made an effort to help. The choice of local dishes was well enough for most people and the... More
