We travelled to Hungary last summer, to introduce ourselves to the famous dishes we heard of, from everyone who visited this country before. Nobody was in the restaurant when we entered (it was Friday evening, dinner time) - and it would not be a problem, BUT... - it was smelly inside - food was not really good and also not fresh - toothpick was not available - staff was not really motivated Summarized: not so many guests were there (only both of us)... Located on the bottom of basilica hill in a building from 19th century. You can sit inside or in the nice garden. There is a good and variety choice of meals. Meal is very tasty and the portions are quite big enough. I definetely reccommend it to everyone!

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the restaurant has a lovely garden to sit in. We have eaten here four times over a period of time and never been disappointed. The fish fillet and pork in breadcrumbs are both excellent. Prices are also very reasonable.

Just across the street from the bottom of the steps, it's the perfect place to get your breath back and have lunch or an ice-cold beer after the basilica. Sit in the cool shade inside, or go outside and sit in the garden at the back.

We called here by chance after a long boat excusion from Budapest. The garden is very pleasant to sit and eat lunch. I had a beautifully cooked fish fillet and my husband had anonymous meat roulade which was excellent. After a while trying to identify the anonymous meat he realised the restaurant was 'anonymous ' so the dish was actually... More

I was there with my friends in June, it's a nice small family business. The garden was really colorful with the lots of flowers creating an amazing atmosphere. I had chicken breast 'Princess style' (if I remember good), it was nice. Mostly traditional(ish) foods on the menu, no fancy-extreme-art stuff, thank God. Prices were quite cheap (compared to our prices... More
