Looks nice but the food was underwhelming. We had the daily lunch menu at 2pm that came with garlic soup and lasagne. It was a large portion and we'll served but the quality wasn't great. Some of the dishes were a bit cold too.

Everything is almost perfect. The food, the wine list. Chef knows his business, the fish scale chips I had there was astounding. They work with great materials, they don't necessarily want to save the world, but with their restraint, kind innovation they certainly make the world a better place. Check out the garden, too!

This cozy restuarnt offers traditional Hungarian courses as well as international meals. My beetroot risotto was scrumptious and the trout with mashed potato was perfect - even too much for my average appetite - I would say. There is a nice wine selection and it is diffcult choose as all of them are good, not to mention the prices which... More

Our party of nine, including two locals, dined on the terrace mid week, and was very impressed with the quality of the food. We tried a variety of dishes and everyone was pleased with their selection. The duck pâté appetizer was the best I had during my two week stay in Hungary. The food was very reasonably priced compared to... More

A very little menue with items missing. Very little choice of apetizers, and not many options for vegetarians. We both ordered pasta, which i found overcooked, but i dont think we made a good order, probably this restaurant is better at preparing other dishes. The wine recommendation was great and the service was attentive. We overall had a good experience... More

Very good food, tasty, nicely served, with big portions. The goose liver terrine with sour cherry is fabulous. The bottleneck is the speed of the service. There were only a very few guests next to us still it took them 20 min to provide us with the bill in the end. If you are very patient, then the place is... More

High quality food, the price is acceptable. Nice staff, good wines at the heart of Eger. I would go there again if I had some special occasions...

First I was amazed by the great interior dominated by wood then by the dishes. The beef soup is of such a big portion that it is far enough for two. And it tastes great. The waiter came to our table only 15 minutes after we arrived, this I did not like at all. The menu is short but the... More

The food was not bad but the waiter speak just a little bit of english, the menu outside the building is different from the one offered (and you can't really understand what you ate going to eat), price are too high for Hungary and for this place too - especially seen the small portions. Wine is not bad at least.... More
