We had a reservation, but no one even treated us with the menu , or anything else in particular. The live music was unbearably loud. We had to leave sadly.

This restaurant was very busy but still there was great service. We had different meals and every of them was really tasteful. Risotto funghi porcini was perhaps the best I ever have eaten.

We chose this restaurant randomly walking on one of the main streets of Eger. This is not the cheapest option, but it was worth the price. We could hardly choose from the wide variety of delicious meals (pasta, pizza, fish, and Hungarian). You can try...many dishes with truffle and porcini as well. We left the place with full stomach and good memories. The restaurant was nice, trendy and neat. Although I have to agree with other's negative opinion of the speed of service.More

At Trifla you can find always something thematic, seasonal and new. We let us also surprize by the varying offers of the chef. The place you would put in the bistro category, but it can offer you more...

Though the menu translations to English weren't brilliant (still not sure what giant fried meat is), I ordered the duck breast and really enjoyed it. I am dairy free and they were able to accommodate changes to the menu, and it still tasted delicious. Service...was great if a little slow. Recommended for a leisurely evening meal.More

Started going to Trifla a year ago or so. Back then the food was delicious, the service was okay, overall good experience. In the last 5-6 months the restaurant went downhill; service became terrible, overage waiting time is 1-1,5 hours, and the food tastes below...overage. Such a disappointment, never going back again.More

We went for a quick bite in the afternoon on a cold day and tried the soups. They gave us a nice spread to put on the bread as well! We had the beef soup and goulash. Both were large portions and filled us up...and both were really tasty. We enjoyed and would recommend those if you try the restaurant!More

I had read the review on trip advisor so gave it a go and was very disappointed. Firstly took quite a while to get served which to be fair to the waiter he was working alone. Ordered drinks which one came as white wind instead...of Rose, got changed. Ordered the chicken, camambert cheese and mushroom risotto and my girlfriend the ROSE duck breast. The chicken was very overcooked and chewy but the risotto was nice. Now to the proper disaster, the duck. First time it came was very overcooked and not as the name would suggest so got sent back. I finished my meal and my gitlfriend waited for another 10mins on the replacement duck. When it came it was obvious again it was overcooked. She tried to eat it but was too chewy like my chicken. Maybe the chef is over cautious about cooking times but he needs to calm it down. We only paid for my chicken. No apology was given and they insisted that is how duck should be cooked.More

I had the beef cheek with pear and mash, hubby had the giant deep fried breaded pork with cucumber salad, to drink lemonades ! Everything was super tender, fresh and good sides typical Hungarian portions! For these hungry travelers it was perfect!

We went to trifla bar because of good reviews, but we couldnt say this is a place which is worth to visit. We took only soup and it was very salty and small for hungarian kitchen. The bread was ok but I tried better one...in my life. Music was very loud and kitchy. Nothing special at allMore
